looks like the same solenoid that fuzzymotorsports(mac) and AEM(mac) uses

i've been using my DIY version on my s70 for over a year. just as good as the delco one if not better

i will say though that the delco one is going strong in my XC for almost 4 years now.

i went through this myself recently. that nut is facing the front of the car and the issue for me was leverage. by the time i contorted my arm to reach the ratchet and/or wrench i just could not turn it loose

i ended up using a gearwrench x-beam wrench which is the longest wrench i had by far

the wires on the sensor can get exposed and corroded, i bet moving the sensor from the old tank to the new tank delivered the death blow.

i may have a good 99+ sensor lying around if you're friend's insterested(but I think a new one is only about $30 from the dealership).

the dealer retail price for the pair is $50 and it comes with 6 rivets needed to install. by the time you add shipping charge and the cost of rivets, not much savings to be had here.
