Ive heard of guys using silicone there, just not pink stuff...not saying it is wrong or bad, just different...whatever works

Interesting, I use grease on mine not sealant. And mine are well worn with ~200,000 on the motor in the car atm...and 275,000 on the one on the bench with no leaks.
Pink stuff from dealer will likely be $25+ for a tube. Any anaerobic sealer should work just as well on that seal. I'm a believer in pink stuff on pans and heads (putting on flame suit) but I think for a seal, you can get away with another brand.

I don't know what is "acceptable" but IIRC, LTFT +/- 20% sets off CEL. LTFT is designed to fluctuate and it is impossible for it to lock in to a zero reading or even close to zero and stay there...that is why you have a range of 40% before it is a problem. If you watch it on a steady highway cruise it will be much more stable than when you are in stop and go traffic. It is a problem when the engine management system cannot influence the variable parameters enough to keep the trim in control.

My Pathfinder would do this occasionally and it had to do with the door switches...in that case, the rubber weather protection had worn through and the switch could not decide weather the door was opened or closed and would cause the central locking system to (seemingly) randomly lock and unlock the doors. Point being these systems can be sensitive and any combination of all those little connections, relays, etc... mentioned above can be the source of your problem...good luck
