I pushed the right side in more to make it even right after I took the picture.

Yea I'm just worried I squished the back of it or messed up the spring.

The IPD isn't a front mount. That intercooler is just a drop in where the original one is. The small one's are more than enough if you don't plan on getting a bigger turbo.
And if you do eventually want to upgrade you can just switch them out. The hard part is routing the piping. And even that isn't too hard.

This is too expensive. You can get a cx racing intercooler for cheap and cx racing pipes. There's a list on one of the fmic write up threads that tells you every pipe, coupler, and clamp you need. Also 3" won't fit. Especially on the hot side. I think I went with 2.25" but you might be able to do 2.5"

It's annoying but its doable and somewhat cheap. RIP kit does nothing don't waste your money.
