Pull the thermostat too , ny S70T5 had an overheat "moment" once and bent the t/stat , always ran a bit hot and had some bubbles in the coolant after that but is fine , you never can tell , you need to check everything and dont believe the HG is gone untill you have checked , also get a GOOD Volco tech , iyts yhe only way not to waste $$

Had u tried to run the heater full blast while you give the car a gOod run on the freeway? Could have an air pocket that's migrated.
Also not sure if this helps, but I had nearly the same issue only after I'd replaced the preformed rubber hose that connects to that egr looking thing above the turbo... I had to drive around with a bottle of water and run the heater for a 15 minutes multiple times within a week till the coolant levels stabilized.
I had to add more coolant once the first time the entire reservoir was emptied and then twice more It sucked up half the coolant. Since that I haven't had anymore boiling over or coolant loss.
I also had no overheating issues through the whole ordeal.

The heater is "ON" and has coolant running through all the time. Air should come out over the course of a few hours at most. Keep checking it tho , i had a top hose crack at the radiator plastic nozzle, lost a little there , also i think my oil cooler lines in the radiator are leaking /damaged due to previous owner having a crash and not fixing , there is oil in coolant but no HG leak can be found.........

Have a REAL good look at the wiring diagrams , i was doing my old RED855R (Lovelly one in my sig) seats into the V70 and the harness plug sequence is different , on the passenger side anyway as the driver on my V70 was electric any way...

My experienced garage owner says its a good way to prevent the sump getting damaged by rocks if you traverse any dirt roads,he has seen one car lose oil twice and luckily the second time the motor was shut off before total oil loss , not so lucky the first time tho....
There are alloy chequer plate ones available here and for the added security if you do a lot of dirt.
The amount off crap that ends up on our roads and kicks back up if you happen to run over it that could damage hoses never mind the sump is getting worse so i need to get mine for the V70 back on too.....thanks for reminding me!
