No sure if they have this on the NA cars, but on my turbo there is a snow guard for the intake tube if looking up from the radiator. You can remove it easily and it will allow more air through.

You can tighten it a little, play around with it a little, but be careful, you can get very quick spool. Might want to get a mbc - you'll see more gain and also get quicker spool. But for a quick in the garage, adjustments adjust it to there the arm goes onto the clip with no play. Thats around the stock setting (on my car and a couple others it was, but some cars are different) and you could tighten it a little from there. Maybe a couple turns, but go up gradually. Have fun....get a boost gauge.

Sounds like a good upgrade. I am running like the same specs. I blew my auto...however I have higher miles, I would recommend a tranny cooler...and to be honest a manual swap. I am in the process of doing so, and I think it will take the stress of blowing the tranny and also make the car way quicker.....
