Hi,

Last spring I bought one of these to rid myself of the CEL code thrown:

The code was for bank 1 sensor 1 (forget the actual code) so I replaced it. Not too long after doing this the code was thrown again, I have cleared and re-thrown the code quite a few times hoping it was a glitch...

Anyway, I have read places (super reputable) that the generic bosch o2 sensor can do this and that I would need the volvo Blue box o2 sensor. Anyone confirm this? If its the consensus, where can I get the damn thing for the cheapest?

Reason im posting this question is I also saw a lot of posts from people using the generic and never having a problem. (4.4 vs 4.3?)

I would not worry too much about it, but I get like 15-16 mpg on a stage 1 ipd tune (im not too heavy footed) and I plan on upgrading this spring quite a bit. I want to get this crap sorted already.
