I would think that penalty kicks are the only way to truly have a winner, when a winner is deemed neccesary, IE: a final (whether it be, world cup, champions league, etc...).
I for one think that moment when a keeper gets a great stop on the kicker, is one of the most entertaining moments condensed into a mere second or two...
The difference between footbal (aka: soccer), and all the other sports that Burn E reffered to, is footbal is typically a game that can end in nil nil draw, happens quite often, yo do have games with ridiculous score lines, but are clearly the exception... when you have two teams that have played through 90 minutes of regular time and an additional 30 minutes of extra time, and a winner can not be decided, and unlike all the other sports listed above you have a two teams of 10 players and a 1 keeper, and for that entire duration you are only entitled to a maximum of 3 substitutions... Well at the very least you'll have 8 players that would have been on the field for 120 minutes with stopped time in between there, but I would think due to a drop in performance that player's effectivness at defending and attacking would become even less entertaining...
I am an avid football fan. I have grown up in a football crazed world in Egypt, and follow football, or what I can of it, as little is aired here in Canada, for your typical top flight leagues: EPL, La Liga, Serie A, etc... and I can understand why the typical North American can't appreciate football for what it is. Sometimes the moments of a buildup that would have been just perfect, ends up being foiled by a the ball comming off one of the posts or the crossbar, and those moments where rooms and stadiums are literally brought to their feet and then a hush falls over everyone, are still moments as a frustrated (or relieved) football fan, offer tremendous excitement... well for me anyways... I cant say the same would be true of basket ball, nobody gets excited over a brick (well maybe a game winner, but I would still think that a footbal near miss is of far greater entertainment value then basketball, hockey...)
Also, for sports that are played where a goal and goal tender are involved, you have very few sports, Football, Hockey, are the main ones, maybe lacrosse... thats why penalty shootouts offer a tad bit more exitement, and hockey will go to penalty shootouts eventually... Don't know about lacrosse...
I personally think that if they wanted to change or tweak the way things are played in football then having technology step in, ie: goal line technology, play review, etc... would be more useful to the sport than something more entertaining than penalties...

I've got a set of those but they are 17 X 7.5. I had looked them up as Sadira wheels from a 2nd generation C70 (P2) I do have to bore them out to use them on the C70 or the 850. The ones you have being narrower, most likely won't clear a BBK.

I believe you are correct... Thanks by the way...
And with the additional boring needed, and the fact they probably won't clear the BBK, as I'm assuming the pic you attached is of 302mm brake setup, there's no way the 330mm would fit in there...
Well if anyone's interested they are for a hell of a deal, local to me. I had thought about buying them, but this guy is selling all four for $150...

Nice work! I'd put the larger ID restrictor back, just so you don't end up with oil starvation issues/early bearing failure. When I was playing with restrictors on the modified 20g, the smaller restrictor caused bearing wear. I took it apart after only a few hundred miles, and I could see the transfer of bearing material to the impeller shaft.
It would seem that breather venting is far more important than the oil drain or oil feed. That was also my experience, and others. Maciek ended up with a larger system with drain back also. I ran essentially an -8 AN drain on the 20g/60-1, and it was fine once the crank pressure was properly relieved.
Since you didn't add an additional cam vent, you probably won't end up pushing excess oil into the tertiary can, but you should keep an eye on that, esp. after you get into extended WOT or higher boost runs.

So I did end up putting in an unrestricted fitting, I couldn't bring myself to use a straight fitting, but I did put in, a 90degree unrestricted 1/4 JIC to 1/8NPT fitting, kind of like this one, http://www.mrostop.c...05589aa4041c3a5
And again no smoke, at all... Next I may try to go with the straight fitting, but at this point, I am content that the turbo is getting enough oil, and nothing is backing up do to the relieved breather system...
And you werent kidding about excess oil... I did a couple of runs where I wound out 3rd gear a couple of times, probably close to ten seperate pulls, at varrying pressures, four of which were 20+psi and when I got back to my garage, and took a look at the secondary catch can, it was half full... I'm hoping I can devise a way for it to drain back
Either way, I am blown away by how this thing performs, I am getting to a point where TT adjustments are very minor, and this was the first time I really pushed this thing with the new setup, the new intake manifold and turbo are finally getting the use that they deserve, and boy do they deliver...
I will be sure to post a vid soon, because, this thing is a beast... I cant wait for my next dyno, already have her booked for May 26th... I should easily be able to get over 350whp with the way she's running now, and to be honest, I won't be happy unless I have a mininimal 360whp...
And unlike the 20G, this turbo loves to live in the 20+ psi range. The 20G was great but anytime I ran 20psi or more, you could feel it just wasn't as efficient, to a point where most of my summer driving was set to 18psi. It could also be a combination of the new intake as well...

Well Trent 854gta just made 377whp on a Mustang dyno( about 420whp on a dynojet) at 18psi with a GT3071R. So none of that matters really. Its all about how the car is setup period. Similar turbos from one car to another doesnt mean jack.
look at Trent's build and his injectors, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, etc...

Exactly just basic mods and the right things to feed the engine fuel that was my main focus for my build was to show the volvo peeps you dont need to throw massive amounts of money to make 400 wheel. I made 403~406whp (cant remeber now) with the auto trans on stock bottom end and head with a 50trim at 17psi. Remember fuel is the food for the engine its like a human you dont feed it, it starves and dies or wait in the engines case goes BOOM!
Funny you should mention fuel...
So to be clear you achieved your results, using the Volvo Blue injectors (http://www.turbobric...ead.php?t=26083 go to post #20 in the link)?
so a 395cc/min @ 3.8 bar, or ~350cc/min @ 3bar (stock fuel pressure of your 98)?
Are you running these injectors? and what is your FPR setting?
