There is never time to do it right, always time to do it over.

Made a new fuel line bracket out of used main bearing. Cut down a bolt to fit in the back side of the water pump bolt hole. (Locktite). Not Hussien quality but it should work.

Put in another $37 worth of RMS and put the motor back in. Spent 10 minutes trying to get those silly bolts back into the front motor mount that hold the wiring harness. I should have just pulled the starter, it would have been faster.

I took the overflow tank mount off a car at the junkyard (drilled out the spot welds), cut it down a hair and welded her on.

I'll throw on some paint and it'll be fine as frog hair.

I like the blacked out pillars, never noticed before. I have been thinking about doing that to the white wagon.

You need to change your VS name to "Macgyver".

Yeah, I thought about it but just pulled the motor anyway, It really is about sixes and actually easier to pull the whole kitten kaboodle when working alone. I'm way tired of hefting trannys back under and up onto the engine.
Picked up a new seal this morning on the way to work.
World Superbike is in town this weekend plus the HAFB airshow, so many things I like to do and so little time.
I will probaly pull the tranny off tonight after work just to see.

You need to check the freon level. You could get a cheap gauge at Autozone or the like and check it yourself. If it is low, the compressor won't engage. You can also check the pressure switch (jump it) and see if that starts the compressor, if so, you are low on R134 or the switch is toast.
