What Are The Advantages Of 147Mm Rods?

i'm inevitably going to have to change the con-rods on my 1994 854 T-5, but the question is do i simply replace the 139's with aftermarket one's, or change to the 147mm later one's (again forged) while at it

basically what are the advantages to the longer rods? I'm going for a 2002- crank while i'm at it if that makes any difference

Volvo Aluminium Subframe Bushes

thought i'd start a new thread to save hijacking Lucky's pulley thread any more

from the previous thread several people have said the generation 1 C70 convertible had aluminium subframe bushes as standard. Another member tried to find the part number, but says the number he found is the same for the coupe as the convertible. I've just phoned the local dealer who confirms they are same part number for both models (3507924 x 1, 3507923 x 3)

has anyone got the correct number for the solid aluminium bushes, or did Volvo update & fit the solid bushes to the coupe as well
