Hello everyone, I am a new member to this forum and would like to share my thoughts for my summer project. I am currently runing a s60 d5 163hp with a remap (approx. 193hp atm.) Amoung other things it has a computer, a few monitors etc...

What i want to do to my car is uprate the turbo, (pref. gt2260v of a bmw x5, or somrthing similar), install uprated injectors, add a fmic, full exhaust system and a custom mapping to make everything run smoother and will change the clutch to a better one when i burn it out with the modifications mentioned.

In addition i will change the air filter/flow (thinking about adding a second input). That is really my first stage in the process.

after that is setup, i will change my suspension, brakes, struts and bushes. i.e. handling options but that after the adding hp bit.

3rd step is really i.c.e. things and interior looks, e.g. PC, Audio, Blue dash and dails, etc... but this all happens when i bored as oppose to satge 3, if that makes sense.


I have done up cars before (visual and remap tbh) but not really ever looked at engine work, uprated injectors and turbos, etc...
Now the intro done, the actual questions:

What should i be looking for in respect to upgraded injectors, i have seen many on performance websites with different cc. sizes but i have no idea how that relates to me. please help.

Is a fmic or a water injection system more worth my while? i have seen fmic installs on s40 and s60R but not an actual s60, has anyone done this before? any write up???

the turbo has a T25 flange if anybody is wondering.

Oh and the key bit is that i plan to use this car everyday!!!

I am looking into puting my plans into action in a few moths, jus want to make sure that i dont mess anything up to severly or overlook something important.
Also, will the engine internal be able to cope with this sort of modification? without me have to change pistons, cams, rods, etc...

I am a newb to this and have little experience behind me as i am only 21. but i am very enthusiastic about this project and any help is much appriecated. Thanks in advance.
