That's probably why they didn't go with the old school numbering system. Let's rename the model lineup 'cause the badges don't line up!

The 4 does line up, the only reason why it appears that it doesn't is that the horizontal line in the number "4" isn't designed at the same location as for example the center line as a "5" or "8" or a "6". The "4" is the only number out of the few that is unique on it's own, and this was by design by Volvo or the marketing team they hired.

So Alfred, you ever sell your CK's? I sent a PM on SS a while ago.

That reminds me, I should remove the sale posts. Decided to keep them. Thanks.

It seems that if you have a job with VCNA or have one of the more modified cars on the site, they let you be a moderator. Moderator status over there appears to be only loosely correlated with length of membership, how helpful you are or supportive of the site, or other criteria which you may expect would be associated with the position.

I think Alfred responded in absolutely the wrong way. I am skeptical that he is really able to separate his friendship with Henry from his role as moderator of the forum. Deleting posts bashing Henry's known customer service issues certainly doesn't look good - what other posts is he deleting? I'd guess almost none To his credit many of the posts that were deleted probably were irrelevant. I don't fault him for feeling the way he does - if one of my close friends was accused of screwing people I'd also rush to their defense - but outwardly it does not look good nor does it make it seem that moderators are unbiased when the moderator says "we don't say bad things about our vendors" and selectively deletes posts critical of his buddy's business.

Thanks Na-Game, you summed it up nicely for me. I'm not going to deny the fact that i'm inexperienced as a moderator and my way of handling the situation turned bad. I also made mistakes for removing posts whether they were irrelevant or not, as this leads to anger and outrage. People don't wake up being excellent at everything overnight, it takes failures and challenges.

Simply put, and i've said this before. Perhaps I am tainted by the simple friendship between Henry and I, we've met through the forums and through his business as a customer. CFWerks was at one point more reputable with many great products and had better customer service, and perhaps all this is the bias. Not because he's my friend but at one point contributed to the small Volvo community that we have here. However, at the end of the day, I do not know his personal dealings with his customers and I also respect others opinion about Henry and his business.

I'd like to see CFwerks back to what they once were, but that's in the hands of the owner and not me.

The wrap material I use is called HEXIS, they have a pretty realistic CF film as well as other high quality wrap colors that can contour to almost anything.

It's far more superior to Di-NOC; conforms better, air channels, and looks better.

Wheels always take precedence. The rule of thumb is; when you find the wheel you want, you make the car accomodate the wheels. I know it's twisted thinking for most, but it's what sets your car apart from the rest....and as you know, there's a lot of 'the rest' around here.

IMO, I would trade the expensive 4c system for moar low.

It's fashion not function. People don't care how fast your car is, but they will never forget how beautiful it is.

Certainly, you've touched on several issues that I battle with. I totally understand the fashion/function thing. I understand that VS have a small small club of the low stance Volvos or (hehehe Jags); exepat, Mattphi and youself. I certainly love the look and a good part of me simply says: drop the car a good inch and be apart of this exclusive club. I get to see my car on "Stance" domain sites etc. (lol maybe not, well whatever)

Then there's the other side...

I said this before though, it's slightly different with the R. I don't know what it is, and I tell you, I dropped my 850 with coilovers and dropped it as low as possible on the car. I had no issues doing it, but this R was a bit different. I actually got fond of the added electronic features, switching to comfort, sport, advanced is a nice. Okay so let's say Fuck it, pull the 4C and run coils. Will it get the heights I want? Probably, but I'll have to live with the harsher ride, the error messages, the lack of ability now to instantly change drive characteristics. Perhaps I suck it up and give up those things to look good. But then again maybe i'm past that phase and just want a good looking, comfortable and fast car.

I'm seriously on the fence.
