That's the same word I've heard from Ferrari owners at Supercar Saturdays. Do your own work it's cheaper but expect certain parts to be very expensive. They say after 40k miles expect some issues on the older cars.

YOU curbed a Saff wheel? Were you experimenting driving with your eyes closed?
No I was pulling into the bloody garage at work - the road was slick and the garage has one of those curved entries with raised curb to keep people from going out the in and vice versa. I over corrected and made contact that scarred a 3" section at the edge of the wheel - mind you it was on the driver's side rear that the time. You notice it if you look but it's not obvious.
I don't drive the car to work any more for that specific reason.
I have a pristine spare wheel I've been meaning to swap the tire off of and get the wheel repaired and then install a new spare tire to it to keep in the trunk for moments like this.

You're being a little generous with that price point. Most I've seen with that mileage or below are at the $45 - 60k price point. A couple at mid $30s but definitely the oldest models.

Piss - that's my attitude and also the sound of my driver's side tire on the coupe.
Went to take it out for a drive on Wednesday and found the tire was almost out of air. Didn't have time to investigate until today - yep there's a nail.
At least it had the good sense to bury itself in the meat of the tread near the middle of the tire. This is the one wheel I curbed slightly a while back and I was concerned that something was bent / cracked.
