Diy Coilovers?

So I just got a set of Bilstein HD Struts... I was thinking about a coilover conversion, and I know the process for the most part, I want to know if I have the right sizes on parts.

I have been following the koni DIY thing, but I am not sure if Koni and Bilstein share the same diameters.

Also would a 6x550 2 5/8" be too much low?

So I had the chance to get some 18" pegs this morning, and upon seeing them I had to have them.
