BACK OFF MAN, I'M TRYING TO WORK ON THE VOLVO!!

ArwenVolvo_zps7df7a43c.jpg

My family and i paid a visit to Dan on Saturday.. and my daughter wanted at the car!!

This will probably shock most of you (price wise) but my best friends car just stuff the bed on him last night, and he's stuck. He has 3 kids and works an hour from his house, and works his ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD off to support them. And me sitting on 3 R's didn't even think twice...... I sold him my 96 850R(black) today for $500. It is his 1st Volvo but he knows them from being a friend of mine :) I am more then happy helping him out. I wish I could do more for him but I thought a caR at that price was a good start. He wanted a Sonicama but....wait in line my friend :)

Friendship is worth more than money.

in case this helps anyone else:

I dropped down the splash guard on the driver's side with a 10mm wrench and pried open the air pump with a flat screwdriver.. there are 3 tabs to do this on:

I then removed and taped off the power wires that you see here.

Posted Image

After that, i put it all back together and then pulled the ECU box apart to get to the harness, and wire tapped the diode into place like so:

Posted Image

After putting that back together, i found the purple vacuum line, disconnected it, then put vacuum tube caps over the nipple.. the size i had was a bit too big, so i zip tied it to the solenoid here:
