Remember, I do shift mine... it isn't just enoying the ride.  Granted I don't have to clutch obviously, but there is some brain power required or I'll just bounce off the rev limiter like a bozo.

Well there's the first problem, the Iridium plugs; and the second problem is listening to the person who told you to run Iridiums in a turbo car.  Stick with the NGK coppers (as does everyone here with a turbo car).  I've got an 18T, IPD Stage 3 tune, NGK coppers, and I'm runnin 13.6. 

Havent contacted lucky yet... I have been running NGK Iridium IXs on recommendation by someone from here... Bosch cap and rotor and IPD wires... Cleaned the MAF like 5k miles ago or less

I'm the original owner of Red and went to Sweden for delivery at the factory and spent roughly a week and half driving her around Sweden and even came within a foot or two of rolling her into a Swedish ditch the second day out.  Since I had the motor rebuilt in roughly 2009 and heaps more go fast parts put on her she's been a show queen since 2010 and has many trophies.  I would attend muscle car shows and beat out Mustangs and Camaros in the 90's clalss.  She's not been a DD in a really long time, and now pretty much sits in the garage since I got the Mopar.  I spent quite the $$ upgrading Red, but nothing compared to the Mopar since the Mopar is limitless.

I have fun with my car cause i run it daily... I can justify the money spent on the car because I can extract that much more fun... My friends have 12 or 14 thousand in their cars but dont daily them which to mean is making the money less worth it by not extracting the fun Just a thought...

SO my visit to the tire store did not go well. Turns out the all season tires have only 2/32 of tread so they won't put them on. need new tires, but oh my prius is a touring and they don't have any tires in stock. So, I ended up ordering the ones i wanted, but they of course will take 3-5 days, which means the wife isn't going to be wanting to drive her car on winter tires when it's like 68-70 out side for her 80 mile commute. Grr. I Commented that it would have been nice if they would have told me the tires were trash in the fall (as in last spring they told me they wouldn't put them on with out putting TPMS sensors in them the next fall) Because i could have ordered them and saved all this hassle, the guy tells me "they couldn't check the tread depth if they were packed with snow." Yeah... Good one, because I'm SURE they never check tread depth all MN winter long.  I would have been happier if he would have just said "yeah sorry they missed it" So crabby at my wasted day, I sent an email to the corp office. I did get a better apology, and i assume that's all i'll get.

 

If i had known last fall, I would have had them trash the tires and just stored my wheels. It would have been a lot easier bringing them in since i had both kids with me (the oldest had a fever yesterday and had to stay home from school) so i had a tire in the front seat and had to have the belt fastened because the seat sensor was going crazy.

 

 

Fun times.

oh noz.     My Grand National neighbor's getting married that Saturday and he really want's me there.  I'm also trying to figure out if I want to spend the money for Carlisle considering the cash that's going in the stroker motor/tranny and also a vacation that's looming on the horizon.
