  1. Kaylan: My IC piping is all 2.5". It's what was the closest match to the turbo outlet, intercooler inlet/outlet and the throttle body. The exhaust is all 3" and the intake pipe is 4". Travis: This is how I left the PCV.. I just ran that one line to the catch can, i'm interested to see how it works too.
  2. I've got a couple pics at home. We used a downpipe that we made for a buddy's 850 a couple years ago. He went back to stock cause he's selling his car, so I grabbed it. Just needs a little adjustment up near the turbo. We started with that and worked back to just past the tunnel. Had to stop because the MIG wasn't working so we couldn't tack it. We ended up using duct tape but that only works for a small section before there's just too much play. I gotta get the wastegate piping started too, but i'm busy for the next few evenings so probably this weekend. Here are some pics from when we made that downpipe a few years ago...
  3. Joseph is correct. I'm going to keep the boost to ~12psi until this winter when I can swap the clutch/flywheel and drop in a limited slip. This will give me time to make sure everything is running correctly and will allow me to save up some money. As for the fuel, don't forget we have 5 injectors This winter I will also upgrade the FPR and fuel lines. I'm still ~3 weeks from starting the car. Finished mocking up the intake pipe today and will be getting it welded tomorrow. All that's left is to finish the exhaust, add coolant and do an oil change.
  4. Finally got the rest of my parts. Intake pieces.. Greg's right, it will be a little tight.. Vibrant flat black muffler 3" in/out and 1.5" 304ss bend for the wastegate piping SS reducer for the downpipe, just have to cut it down to fit. Homemade catch can installed. I was going to run a slash cut to the exhaust to draw vacuum, but i'll do it later or just leave it... see how it works for now. Fab work on the intake pipe and exhaust will start Friday when my bro brings over the chop saw.
  5. Well, since my thread was bumped, I can give a quick update. Just worked on small things over the weekend. Got the catch can finished as well as the ECT sensor adapter. The rest of the parts I need will arrive today and tomorrow .... 4" AL piping for the intake, coupler, clamps, air filter, muffler, piping etc.. So the next week or so will be busy getting everything fabbed and installed.
  6. maybe he forgot to put the key in the ignition?
  7. hopefully something that's not too much trouble?
  8. Probably the CMP sensor since you weren't 100% you got it in right.
  9. Looks good! I wish i could get more stuff done, but i'm still waiting for parts
  10. I'm sure the basemap will need tweeking before I drive anywhere on it.
  11. Sorry man, the cluster was only out for a day. Pop your dash pad off and pull yours out. It takes like 20mins tops, even your first time. Seach, there's thread with instructions on here some where.
  12. Standalone. I'm keeping the stock ECU in the car so maybe my dash computer will tell me the time and temp. haha
  13. I'm hoping for 2-3 weeks. It all depends when the parts arrive.
  14. I finished 99% of the wiring for Nira. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on this. Johann, Chuck, Adam, LG and others. Not a whole lot to see really, but here are some misc pics of the process... yes I cut up my harness. ...and finished! Not!! I have to finish looming a couple wires and i'm just waiting for a new ECT sensor before I start putting things back together. Also STILL waiting for the intake pipe bends and some pieces for the exhaust.
  15. I'll just use my project thread :P
  16. Despite being extremely hung over today, I was able to finish up a few things. Pulled the cluster and removed the CEL bulb Started running the PCV line, just gotta get my buddy to fab up the catch can. Friday I got the turbo mounted for the last time. The stock return line fits, but it was a bitch. Drilled & tapped the intake manifold for the MAP/IAT sensor The manifold wasn't quite as thick as i'd hoped, so to ensure a tight seal i made a little spacer. ... and after cleaning all the debris from the manifold, it's mounted. Then it was onto the injectors.. stock white 350cc and new Siemens 630cc All installed in the rail ...and everything back on the manifold
  17. maybe if i was in the US?
  18. No, i don't have a welder but I have got a buddy who will TIG it for free. Just mocking it up will be a bit of a bitch, especially the rear portion.
  19. Starting to receive some exhaust parts. I'm probably going to use part of a down pipe off my buddy's 850, will just need a few adjustments. 3" stainless bends 3" Vibrant resonator and some bungs Just waiting for my 3" Vibrant flat black muffler, a reducer, some pipe for the wastegate and still the 4" bend for the intake pipe. Currently sorting out all the wiring for Nira before I get started.
  20. You're getting a valve job, but not porting the head? Why not have it done while it's apart? should only be an extra 4 bills
