  1. I was hoping for a more uniform color. I used a sponge applicator then wiped off the excess. But the stain came off in patches, you can actually see the brush strokes...it looks really awful in bright lighting.
  2. It seems like my wood staining skills still need a lot of work. This exquisitely horrendous hand rubbed finish, exudes oodles of that rustic Je Ne Sais Quoi, which I will refer to as being, "very charming". :)
  3. OMG I love those dogs! The one in the drivers seat hunkered down almost at the end to help with speed...lol.
  4. That's a long way to drive just to kayak. Report said he's a tourist from Bellingham WA.
  5. Really? That was a nice thing he did. Saw the vid yesterday.
  6. That lady is wearing really chonga earrings.
  7. Spent the entire day in the garage building a workbench to fix up the disaster area that is the back wall of my garage.
  8. What is she so upset about? I'd like to see the sequel to that clip, that's so fascinating.
  9. I cried through them all....laughed till i cried, that is.
  10. I liked the showroom/garage with the yellow in it. If I can get the price I want for a '09 Z4 tomorrow, I may not have my S40 anymore. :(
  11. Audio NWS. Make sure your volume is way low... New S40 car alarm. lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT1GRdcj570&feature=BF&list=QL&index=18
  12. I just thanked my colleague for her Christmas card...lol. I just went to the mail room to get my mail.
  13. Glad you're home safe Aaron. I need an alignment done on Saturday. Those PA roads really did a number on my car.
  14. Maybe a Saudi Prince or something. They have a affinity for chrome finished cars there.
  15. Check this site out. Yours truly is featured today. www.setupsandspaces.com
  16. On the laminate, I basically went full throttle all the time. In the garage I had a track laid out and since my goal was to keep within the boundaries but drift on the hairpins, I really can't go too crazy on the throttle. Otherwise it will oversteer like it did the last few seconds before I collided with the camera table. It was hard to initiate the drift at such low speeds. I have a flash version on my facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1729097503332 Thanks. I had to edit the footage because I only had one camera and wanted a few different angles. Plus I am a bad driver and the editing makes me look like a pro! :)
  17. Short 1.5minute clip of the RC drift practice in my garage today. Mike, I hope your kids enjoy this. Garage practice
  18. My god, that's amazing. It behaves like it was massless.
  19. You're welcome Mike. I figured since there are no indoor circuits (i know of) to run on-road RC cars, I decided to go the drifting route since a skilled driver requires very little area and I can do it in my garage. I'm still honing my technique and quite relieved I didn't have to move my furniture this time.
  20. No offense taken. I'm still trying to get the hang of it. This time I can actually do it in 1/4 of the space it took me yesterday.
  21. ^ LOL Another attempt tonight at drifting my RC car. Edited the highlights together. Do not pay any attention to my furry house slippers. Drift Fun.
  22. Matt, your neighbors' kids must love you. Oh, let's see if he'll drift into the garage today because it's snowing and a little icy.
  23. Oh, you're not fooling me. That was from the previous winter when you messed up the powerslide maneuver!
