  1. So I take it no drilling needed since it says the only required tools are a socket wrench? Added to the list of "must have's."
  2. Very nice. I think that's still my favorite color on the R's.
  3. Sweet, just when I leave we get a good FWD turnout in a NE meet. Pics look good Phil, keep 'em coming!
  4. Is that rear park assist on your V70? Was that aftermarket or factory optional?
  5. In the article, there is no mention of an AWD version. If I remember correctly the concept was AWD with a 260 bhp engine. Let's hope they will in fact release an AWD version.
  6. Soooo done with the Rust Coast. Thinking of winter makes me shudder. I've got some video in need of editing. Of course the battery died half-way through the twisties on our drive. Later probably than sooner as I move at the speed of molasses on these things.
  7. lol, yeah I still haven't gotten it registered in California yet Phil. But I can't say I miss the weather back East!
  8. Great pics guys. Yeah especially when they aren't working right now
  9. Yeah actually I was driving on I-80 all day around early June 2005. There were thousands of butterflies along the route. I can't even imangine how many butterflies died that day.
  10. Yeah, I took out a few hundred in northern Nevada once.
  11. My cousin has a kit in his VW golf tdi. He says its great but has its downsides. One being that you have to be careful where you get your used grease, for fear of water contamination. But he says when you find the right restrurant owner its driving for free.
  12. Looks like Lincoln is old reliable as far as sales go this year. I emphasize OLD.
  13. The adjusters are pretty much only side to side, so if its aiming up the inner housing probably need to be popped back into place. I bought one lamp used and it was pointing skyward, and I had to pop inside housing back into place.
  14. Yeah that happens (the latch). Apparently they changed the latch design on the V70's to make it a bit cheaper than the 850 ones. Mine broke, and I replaced it with an 850 latch (which is a tank). However I can't use the rear key hole, but it works fine otherwise (not that I care about using the key on the trunk). The V70 latch mech is allot cheaper to replace than the 850 one. The install is very easy.
  15. Those fenders are the coolest things ever. I kinda like the R-like bumper on it. Can't wait to see it painted.
