  1. You're maturing, you had the decency to not claim his wife. Be safe Erik, the pictures of the protests don't make the place look safe AT ALL. Even with the amnesty, etc..., I'd rather be elsewhere.
  2. See, now that you mentioned sharing a wet dream with you, I don't want it. I don't anything anymore....
  3. Goes way back, I don't see it on any of the usual forums. Unfinished body, but mechanically complete.
  4. Travis, I saw one not long ago with a Toyota drivetrain. It wasn't just the purists who didn't like it, it sold for $8,000.... I like the aluminum body ones like a Kirkham or a Continuation series. But this is still my dream car...
  5. Anything more than 500 hp in these cars and you're clenching your butt cheeks when you drive them. They're all fiberglass bodies now, except for a few. The build you posted is impressive, but the Factory Five used is junk.
  6. Great.... Of all Cobra replicas out there, you go for the poor man, badly executed, not true to form Factory Five. Look how high the rear end comes up on yours, and compare it to the one below. (an E.R.A. 427SC)
  7. 'bout time that drywall went up.
  8. Fear not, your single snow plow is working overtime Atlanta....
  9. I was hoping that not every single dickwad was out driving in the snow. But maybe I'm wrong.
  10. The main issue was ice. Brother in law's from NJ and has lived in ATL for a few years now, he was saying that the drivers weren't the issue: the highways and countless bridges all froze within minutes of snow hitting tyhe ground. Everything turned to ice. Ice storms without salt and hundreds of thousands of commuters is very different than a few flurries.
  11. I use a freight forwarder based on Atlanta a lot. I received a few emails from them last night around 9-10 pm, called for shits and giggles and sure enough: 1/2 of their staff stayed in the office overnight. Why ? It took one of their employees 18 hours to get home because of bro trucks flipped over at 2-3 mile intervals on a 25 mile drive home..... It's pathetic and funny all at once.
  12. I wish they would return that dumb ass to Canada. And Piers Morgan to England.
  13. Let's not get carried away kids.....
  14. As Reid was posting pics of a black T2 in Austin, I was laying on my back draining the tanks once again. I don't think I cleaned them out properly the first time, and the fuel I pulled yesterday looked like old varnish. 15. They don't make them like they used to.... No, they make them safer and stronger.
  16. Rode and raced a Litespeed Ti frame for almost 10 years, one of the best all around bikes I ever owned. Super comfortable and forgiving, light, looked great and was easy to keep clean. Small scratch: meh, just brush the frame with some fine steelwool and you're done. If the price is right, I'd get it, 1 inch steer tube and all.
  17. Oh yeah ? I'll find another gem for you. It ain't easy being Pat. I realize that. Pat: just go with it, if you don't like it, walk away from it in a year. I'm sure it's like every team, everywhere: no formal commitment, no real structure where there are consequences for not doing what's asked of you. It's much better to ride with other IMHO, this could be a great set up.
  18. That's a good deal if you think that most kits cost twice that much. I'm assuming you won't be able to race collegiate races though, right ? Will you do any USAC events ?
  19. That's clean for used pro bikes, the ones I had access to (Europcar and Ag2R's bikes) were in far more "used" condition. I can still get them, I just have too many ongoing projects to look into it without serious interest. Bike related, a guy on the team does wraps, vinyl signs, T-shirts, etc... He wrapped my helmet to match our kits. Crankworks is our main sponsor, local bike shop.
