  1. What was the temp ? Nice bikes BTW. Please compliment your friend on his majestic beard. No such beard should ever go unnoticed. I hear you. 2 days on the trainer and I'm thinking of ways of riding outside without wiping out within my 1st mile.
  2. Ha! My Grand-Father had a Fuego. Those things were fun. Here is a couple: rear by Exim-Cars, on Flickr 017 by Exim-Cars, on Flickr Those are almost 3 years old, but I'll throw some on here soon. *Edit: found a more recent one, with the paint cleaned and buffed
  3. No, dude, no! Between the monster truck suspension and the massive letter, I want to punch a baby rabbit.
  4. It's fairly simple. Not cheap, but simple. 3 good aftermarket sources in France (one company is owned and run by one of Senna's F1 mechanic), plenty of parts carry over from VW, Saab, Volvo and a few other brands. If you buy K-jet crap, you can get lucky. If you're looking for suspension parts, body panels, R5 specific items, you can get bent over. Part of me wants to yank the K-Jet and run stand alone but the value of the car would plummet. I will have the car back on the road for good by the end of this month. It's a matter of working out the kinks at this point.
  5. LOL, at least use a stock Mustang.
  6. Not feeling the front but still a gorgeous car.
  7. Been chasing down a no start issue for some time. Found that I had pushed some old fuel out of the tanks into the K-jet system. Pulling and cleaning the tanks again tonight. Gooooooooood times. But given the weather for the next few days, it's a good time to do it.
  8. Thankfully no. A little more south than me is where you'd see that (NC, TN, SC, GA, etc...)
  9. LOL, the comments to Ford's pic on Instagram were priceless. But those whores deleted all the negative ones and only kept the positive ones.
  10. I did and I agree with you. No fan of tramp stamps (especially with that name attached to them) but otherwise a fan of ink. It's Mike who gets on my nerves with this, but he knows it all too well.
  11. Man, this conversations goes nowhere fast, every f...time. Tattoos are cool when done right and don't stop you from great jobs. Sorry if I'm not including flooring in the great job category.
  12. Negged you because that's not a Mustang, that's a Fusion that boned a Jag. Sorry Ford, but that's not what most Mustang enthusiasts had in mind for the car's 50th. Idiots.
  13. OK, I'll bite. Mike: it's leads and not leeds. One gets you business, the other is a city in England. Here's a less extreme example: I'd hire her: I would not hire her: And to dumb it down for you: think of it as paint on a car. I like a car with nice paint (or a person with tattoos) but I don't like a car with paint on the windows, trim, tires and exhaust (neck and hand tattoos).
  14. Well, that'll slow down. Sister tore hers 15 years ago, she can still predict changes in the weather with her right knee.
  15. Nothing drastic, he rear-ended someone at a stop light, IIRC. Car's OK, just looks a little different. I think it's a great first car, awesome idea.
  16. They did, it starts in August 2014 IIRC.
  17. Hahahahaha! My mother or my mother in law being there would be reason enough to do it for me. That's awesome.
  18. Thanks, I'll give them a call in the morning.
  19. Nice write up on the car. Any clue on the drawing yet ? The signature isn't easy to decipher.
  20. Anyone have a recommendation on where I could buy a rebuilt head for a 2004 S60R/V70R engine ? I need to send the head on the engine now and get it rebuilt or use it as a core.
  21. I love TopGear, on Episode 2 of Season 20 right now and loving every bit of it.
  22. Love it, I'm a sucker for clean, well lit modern spaces. Soon, soon.......
  23. Mine were bought in Sydney but still came out to less than 50% of retail, after the shop threw in a discount and the exchange rate worked out in my favor. There are deals out there, it's just a matter of finding them before others. I'm a 46, the shop couldn't have been happier to get rid of a size they'd had for almost a full year.
