  1. You'll love your Williams. I would ride mine all day long if it weren't for the soft tubulars on them.
  2. You can't seriously be taking this seriously ? I mean, seriously......
  3. He needs to take Zipps' weight restrictions into account. Since he'll have to go with a bigger wheel and higher spoke count, he might have better options elsewhere for the same $$. And I agree: Mike's dropping coin on that bike like his life depends on it.
  4. You know it.... If the Ebay ones didn't look like the joints had been wet sanded by Phillipino slave laborers, I'd jump on one and do a nice paint scheme on it but they look a lot like everyone's front bumper lip.... :(
  5. My team is sponsored by Specialized: great bikes without any doubt. They don't speak to me like an Italian frame would, but from a technical POV, they are probably one of the very best out there.
  6. Free 145 in VA Greg, it popped up somewhere through CL. I bet it's gone, it needed a fuel tank but the body looked straight and rust free.
  7. Awesome pic, Mike. Mine hasn't changed configuration much lately, limited racing and what I did was on familiar courses so I kept myself out of trouble. I did grab a spare CF frame on Ebay, in case mine meets the pavement a little too hard.
  8. Some friends near UVA lost 2 large trees in their yard.
  9. Trash is trash. Screw them, they clearly didn't want it.
  10. Some guys just replace the tires. Johann replaces the whole car. I'm sure there's a meme in here somewhere. BTW: I love your taste in cars Johann.
  11. They dig here too, mostly to bury nuts. I went with a friend's recommendation and bought some chipmunk and squirrel poison. It was getting to be too much. Chipmunks had dug underneath our AC unit so much that it could be moved with one hand. And our stupid cat is useless when it comes to catching anything that resembles a rat.
  12. Amazing that he had the brains and time to cover his face.
  13. I liked that car. I remember when you had it in Florida right after moving in with Matt. Good times, good times. I also remember picking up an exhaust from the "spare room". Crazy to think it was 4-5 years ago.
  14. Sticking to 235/40 to avoid spacers, issues, etc.... Found some more expensive tires (by $14/tire) and TDD honored their original quote. Slightly louder tires but that shouldn't be a problem and I'm keeping the Pegs around anyway.
  15. I love the shit storm that this invention created. People should lighten up. In other news: recommendation needed for a Z rated tire similar to the Continental Extreme Contact DW. The size I need is on back order (235/40 R18), I need something similar by next week. :(
  16. LOL: optioned out the same, unless you don't have the DVD screens in the head rests. I meant that the mileage differs for identical vehicles with similar maintenance and similar mileage. But like I said, we have lead feet, so I think that's probably the reason. The wagon can get up to 32 mpg on the highway when I don't drive like a douche. So I've gotten spoiled that way.
  17. I didn't mean it that way, I meant more that there is a big difference between your wife's MPG and my wife's. I'm sure most of it is driver related. And I agree: for a heavy, 7 seat SUV, it's decent MPG.
  18. Is yours AWD or FWD ? The mileage on ours sucks, no matter how you drive it. We laughed that he mileage actually improved when I averaged 90 mph over 2 hours as opposed to the usual 65 mph. That's not right....
