  1. would just take another relay per switch -- i image you can figure it out if you had it all in your hands with a wiring diagram around... if he doesn't find the thread.
  2. I'll give it the weekend, but I'm still thinking 8X... I'd love the quad core and 2gb of the DNA, and there's no argument that it wouldn't be better than 8X... but I think the more appropriate way to look at it is like this, with my current phone on the right: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/HTC-DROID-DNA,HTC-Windows-Phone-8X,Motorola-DROID-X/phones/7498,7224,4659 8X seems pretty fucking great.
  3. I'm actually a Microsoft fanboy, so, no issues there.
  4. I didn't see the bit about quad core on the verizon site because the verizon site sucks... that was my mistake.
  5. $200 I didn't see the quad core bit... Verizon has bad coparison pages http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/HTC-Windows-Phone-8X,HTC-DROID-DNA/phones/7224,7498 DNA has 1080p display and 8X has 720p display DNA has all around better battery, better CPU and memory and better camera *software* torn once more
  6. very comparable to the 8X, it seems... though the DNA has more in-use battery time, less idle battery time, weighs more, and cost $100 more. what do you mean drop-off? as far as support or creation of apps? I was interested because if I'm doing any mobile development (which I'd like to), windows 8 phones would probably be the quickest to pick up for me.
  7. 2 years is up and shopping for a new phone now... thinking about the Windows Phone 8X by HTC (have two options with verizon and this is the best).

  9. I really enjoyed driving to one airport to depart, and then arriving home at the other airport... what a fail
  10. anyone have experience with the cheap china "apads" (android tablets)?
  11. old 16 bit games i felt like playing (for which there is no support on 64bit windows) Microsoft's official solution is an XP virtual machine... which didn't do the trick, so i'm going older
  12. yea basically... I'll have to bookmark those. I was hoping to find a bunch of the style that IPD and Crutchfield carry... Thought maybe I could give them away w/ bulb orders (of 5+ or something)... I found a few of the right shape, under the name Bone Folder -- they're actually made of bone and for arts and crafts... not sure they'd do it considering IPD has nylon. Then there were some 4+ piece kits on Alibaba for super cheap -- but nothing like the ipd tools.
  13. anyone know where to get bulk bone tools for cheap?
  14. $25 off $100 dewalt order? http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=pe_171480_27422190_pe_ecg/?docId=1000841791&ie=UTF8
  15. I got a bunch of shelf-stable diet food... I'm so prepared plus a few bags of rice...
  16. I just did this myself... you know... they didn't even have the security gates open when i got there
  17. OK, so who's first? I have no use for them -- the 240 could wear em, but I prefer the amber ones.
  18. not on the site... http://www.hova.com/skarmblinkers-smoke-volvo-p-4487-c-259.aspx Really though... why not just make smoked standard sidemarks w/ the clear lense ? I think that's really all people want.
  19. same, basically... any image gives me a "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." and my workaround is to hit preview, which renders the IMG code to a picture (as if you hit insert picture) and THEN i can post... it still gives me the error, but inline on the page and not as a popup, and let's me continue.
  20. hmm HOVA.com has some new sidemarkers (I'm not sure that they made them, but that's teh site I always associated with the 6 led versions): 345,000 kr ~$50USD
  21. i see what you're doing, but you should have left out the apostrophe like he did... because with it, it makes sense. just sayin :D
