I'll give it the weekend, but I'm still thinking 8X... I'd love the quad core and 2gb of the DNA, and there's no argument that it wouldn't be better than 8X... but I think the more appropriate way to look at it is like this, with my current phone on the right: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/HTC-DROID-DNA,HTC-Windows-Phone-8X,Motorola-DROID-X/phones/7498,7224,4659 8X seems pretty fucking great.

I didn't see the bit about quad core on the verizon site because the verizon site sucks... that was my mistake.

very comparable to the 8X, it seems... though the DNA has more in-use battery time, less idle battery time, weighs more, and cost $100 more. what do you mean drop-off? as far as support or creation of apps? I was interested because if I'm doing any mobile development (which I'd like to), windows 8 phones would probably be the quickest to pick up for me.

2 years is up and shopping for a new phone now... thinking about the Windows Phone 8X by HTC (have two options with verizon and this is the best).

yea basically... I'll have to bookmark those. I was hoping to find a bunch of the style that IPD and Crutchfield carry... Thought maybe I could give them away w/ bulb orders (of 5+ or something)... I found a few of the right shape, under the name Bone Folder -- they're actually made of bone and for arts and crafts... not sure they'd do it considering IPD has nylon. Then there were some 4+ piece kits on Alibaba for super cheap -- but nothing like the ipd tools.

same, basically... any image gives me a "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." and my workaround is to hit preview, which renders the IMG code to a picture (as if you hit insert picture) and THEN i can post... it still gives me the error, but inline on the page and not as a popup, and let's me continue.
