i wasn't saying that you sprint 45 minutes straight. what i meant about giving 100% is the fact that yes there are times when you have to sprint and times to jog. but soccer is not always about running around in circles. there is also ball control, passing, field vision, accuracy, among other things. you have to give your 100% but distribute it evenly. just kicking the ball to random places doesn't get you anywhere. and neither does running around. not only to mention legal soccer field size is like three times the size of a hockey arena. most soccer players don't have chances to rest at all. you are always moving in one way or another. you also play a longer timed game in soccer then in hockey. (iirc) once you start putting hockey players in for more then 5-10 minutes a period, then we could talk about endurance. and don't get me wrong, i'm not disrespecting hockey, i love hockey. grew up in canada, loved the leafs. even though they aren't that great now. lol. lol i know right. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
