    Mike, you cannot compare drinking and driving in the terms of one instance of drinks to the number of firearms. Firearms are very scientifically cool... and different ones do very different things. Thus why I enjoy having multiple types. Bottom line. Having "restrictions" is a way you might feel better, but in reality, nothing will change. As stated before, we are unable to keep drugs out of prisons. Get that?

    Well, then I would invite that you are extremely disconnected from your peers if this is what you, or the dumb masses believe. Alex Jones is an extremist. It's my belief most that listen to him do so rarely, so as to not become like them. For the same reason I would turn on cable "news" or check their sites a few times a year. Sorry Mike. I love guns... they are very fun and scientifically cool to me. In that regard though, I'm not crazy nor am I planting a "crisis garden."

    Yeah. I have to admit... I've been wondering about just rebuilding the whole thing since you're going to be halfway into it anyways, and rods not being too expensive, etc... Did I read correctly you found a head and turbo for 200? I would have been on that like white on rice.

    It's a toss up. If you can find a head ready to go... oddly I think that's going to be the cheaper/easier route. However, it will likely be used. Going new isn't bad, but yeah... expensive. Sorry to hear that. I'm wondering if they were bent when you got the motor.

    They could attempt to ban guns because they are too big... or too small... or because they fire too many rounds too quickly... or because etc etc etc etc.. However, this does nothing to address the monumental issues of mental health issues in America today. Bred by generations of mental issues, and compounded by the move towards a less efficient medical coverage system, I do not see this ending well. Me personally? I'd rather die on my feet then live on my knees.

    I think it's a little early to talk about replacing things until you know for sure that they are in fact the issue. In the video you posted, it does sound like there is no compression... however if I read this thread correctly, you haven't fired the car since the swap? I'm not sure the starter could bend valves, but perhaps someone else validate my or dismiss my thoughts there. I would retime it and try again. Just my .02
