  1. Yeah, I know they're not real. Still cool renders though:
  2. My friend is aware the final drive is shorter but that's ok with him. Say the speed sensor is different, could he swap the speed sensor between casings? I'm just trying to help a friend fix his car with parts I have laying around
  3. Thanks guys How about an auto from a 95 850 NA?
  4. Can't really find anything through searching, so would an auto from a 99 NA work in a 94 850? EDIT: added year
  5. H, wagon looks like it's moving properly fast now! You should submit a couple pictures for this: http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/02/iamthespeedhunter-its-wagon-appreciation-time/
  6. It's not a real LM, but a regular F40 with some LM-style modifications.
  7. 4 in a row. C'mon, someone else contribute here!
  8. I have a Lenovo T530 for personal use (college laptop) and it had no problem running whatever CAD program I wanted. Mine only has 4 gigs of RAM but I'm pretty sure it was upgradeable to 16. It has been a great laptop, and I definitely became a fan of Lenovo over the last 5 years of owning their laptops. The only complaint I have with Lenovo is that their GPUs aren't replaceable because they're integral to the motherboard. So for a lot my rendering uses (CPU or GPU intensive depending on rendering engine) my computer would bog down because I wasn't able to upgrade the GPU beyond what came standard. Also, most Lenovos aren't super stylish, they're fairly utilitarian but durable and well built. I have a HP Elitebook 8560w for work and it's been very good too. Spec'd a bit higher than my Lenovo (8 gigs RAM, faster i7 processor, etc) so it handles the workload a bit easier.
  9. Easiest way is to stack them on edge in trash bags (keep dust out) with cardboard between the faces to protect them.
  10. Nick, it seems to me that the "mystery bushing" could be machined out of delrin. I can't imagine that wear would be much of an issue as the bushing shouldn't see much force because it is used as a locating mount for the lower control arm stays, and has very limited range of travel. If delrin is unacceptable for that application, a generic poly bushing (for example from Energy Suspension's universal bushing catalog) could be used with an external steel sleeve to allow the poly bushing to sit tightly into the lower control arm opening; much like the upper engine mount bushing.
  11. Congrats!! Bet it feels nice to have that issue resolved :)
  12. Doing my best to follow Hemingway's advice and really enjoying these gin and tonics
