Run far and fast! Seriously though, they're cool but expensively unreliable. The 2.7T is a capable motor, but maintenance is stupid expensive as the stock turbos will fail and to do a timing belt the whole front end has to come off the car. The air shocks leak and are pricey to replace, each corner has 4 control arms(!!) so replacing them is $$$$ and like any VAG cars from that area they have all sorts of electrical gremlins. Source: My friend works primarily on VW/Audi's all day, those are a few of the things I've picked up from hanging out at his shop when I'm home at my parent's place. Well I can't read the center caps, but it doens't look like a typical HRE cap. Hence my assumption that they're reps. That and HREs are $$$$$$

There was a dude on VR who had a venetian R that lives near my parents place in RI, but last time he posted (like a year or so ago) it was stock and he was considering replacing it with a new R-design. EDIT: His username is ryanv70r1, hasn't logged on in over a year. I also remembered that I've seen a 98 Coral AWD with some mods around here a couple time - that may be what I saw yesterday, now that I think about it. Nope, not BBS of any kind. They look like HRE P40 replicas - ie, VMR V710, Avante Garde M310, etc.
