  1. Laying in the sun is putting me to sleep
  2. Looks great Derrick Like I said at Carlisle, your bay is clean enough to eat off of man! I really like the vinyl, looks so much better in person than in the pictures - the brushed texture is a cool touch.
  3. +1'd solely for the jackass GIF. That segment has me rolling on the floor laughing every time!
  4. Awesome, (even if my reply is a few months later) thanks for the advice Greg. Now that I'm finishing up with school I'll actually have time to start shooting film. Here are a couple D3100 pictures from around campus: Thinking about asking for a new lens as a graduation gift. Did some searching, this seems pretty well liked: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/606792-USA/Nikon_2183_AF_S_Nikkor_35mm_f_1_8G.html# Thoughts?
  5. Run far and fast! Seriously though, they're cool but expensively unreliable. The 2.7T is a capable motor, but maintenance is stupid expensive as the stock turbos will fail and to do a timing belt the whole front end has to come off the car. The air shocks leak and are pricey to replace, each corner has 4 control arms(!!) so replacing them is $$$$ and like any VAG cars from that area they have all sorts of electrical gremlins. Source: My friend works primarily on VW/Audi's all day, those are a few of the things I've picked up from hanging out at his shop when I'm home at my parent's place. EDIT: Here's Fishey's take on VW/Audi from a mechanic's POV: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?210651-Guys-over-at-the-BMW-3-series-forum-bashing-the-S60R/page2&p=2321488#post2321488
  6. Well I can't read the center caps, but it doens't look like a typical HRE cap. Hence my assumption that they're reps. That and HREs are $$$$$$
  7. There was a dude on VR who had a venetian R that lives near my parents place in RI, but last time he posted (like a year or so ago) it was stock and he was considering replacing it with a new R-design. EDIT: His username is ryanv70r1, hasn't logged on in over a year. I also remembered that I've seen a 98 Coral AWD with some mods around here a couple time - that may be what I saw yesterday, now that I think about it. Nope, not BBS of any kind. They look like HRE P40 replicas - ie, VMR V710, Avante Garde M310, etc.
  8. And for my first post in this thread:
  9. Earlier tonight I saw a what looked like a Venetian R with aftermarket wheels and exhaust heading in the opposite direction of me on RT2 near Schartners Farm

Connor (cmod_r) is going to Carlisle if that helps with your decision about that ^^ Nordkap interior
  11. Should've gone with "selectively colored"
  12. Turbo outlet is 2" to 2.25" No idea on TB measurement, never had one to measure
  13. Not legal to import for several more years R32's are just now becoming legal to import and register. Now, that being said R34 =
  14. Tron-inspired wrapped Aventador I guess this is a triptych of sorts? Bonus points if you know what a triptych is!
  15. Damn Mike sorry to hear that. Glad you and yours are ok!
