Sounds pretty awesome I'm a bit of a car audio nerd myself. I got hooked while upgrading my stock system, and now I do installs for my friends and that stuff...debating trying to grab a job as an installer for a local shop this summer. Looking forward to overhauling my setup a bit this summer, but gotta get back to work first. I really like JL's gear, but its kinda pricey (fuck you college) A couple guys I went to high school with had JL setups. One had a full JL setup--6.5" ZR components all around, 2 13.5" W3's in a ported box, JL Slash series amps, (combined system RMS of 1500 watts) That was stupid loud (tested @ 146 db) but still sounded damn good doing so. And one of my best friends had 2 12" W3's with a Rockford amp in a ported box in his Jeep, but he recently replaced them with a 12" Kicker Solobaric L7. I'm curious to hear how it compares.

What kind of setup?

I believe the OP ran the air pump test with a Volvo System Tester (VST) several times while testing the diode install on both cars without any problems.

Yup. One of my friends did that to my roommate last year, so my roommate and I built a plywood box around her car She was SO confused. She had no clue what just happened to her car, and had no idea why there was what appeared to be a large shipping container where her car used to be!

Go to Lowe's, buy 1000' of Duck brand pallet wrap (like saran wrap on steroids) for $20 and wrap that car up nice 'n snug. They'll spend at least 30 mins cutting the pallet wrap off 1 layer at a time. Ask me how I know

Honestly, even though I haven't bought anything on the new site, I like the new style. The layout is easier to use, and I think the fact that its actually organized in some manner is really useful.
