You know you want to, you'll have some much more fun with the k24. Pulling the trans at the yard isnt hard just pull the engine and trans as a whole, then seperate. Steve just finished doing his trans rebuild, he's probably got some good info and tips.

The one I pulled out of the s70 in tacoma cost me about $150 or so for the trans and about a C note for all the other parts.

Agreed pics of gf most be included with all post. Might be a long shot but reduce temperatures under the spark cover for coil packs and wires? -
Thats bad ass. A aftermarket steering wheel for volvos like that would be so sweet. Could be a stock wheel(w/ airbag) with the display built in or a track wheel(w/o airbag).

That might be true. But if you put a supercharger on it like a friend of mine had back in the day it be a fast little car. Man did that thing haul some serious ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.

Have you thought about a c30? Its a coupe and still volvo so no learning curve.
