Ok got a few questions bike people.
I love riding bullhorns, always have and probably always will. I recently came across these pursuit bars, bullhorn like in design but they drop off and I have never used bars like this. I was curious if anyone here has used them and could give me some insight what you may have liked or disliked. I am leaning towards them cause I would be able to change hand positions quite frequently and easily. Obviously handlebars are really personal and subjective to the rider but I have never rode anything besides bullhorns so if you have rode them or know of someone some impressions of them may be nice for me to consider
Also they come in a 31.8 so that's pretty appealing to me and my large frame.
I am running a Schwinn Le toure frame (don't know the exact year, 1970-1990 i believe, mike correct me if I'm wrong)
It's this frame but I sandblasted it and painted it green, taping off all original logos.
If I were to run these bars doing some research shows me I would need a threadless stem adapter... Any recommendations on a good one? The company that makes these pursuit bars also sells a stem that would make mounting the bars super easy so I wouldn't need to mess with handlebar clamp diameter and wondering if they would fit etc...
I know it's a lot, I tried to break up the text. Thanks!
