  2. EVERYONE MUST GET P90X!!!!!!!!!!! that is all.
  3. I'm buying them after I sell my Voxxes ^_^
  4. I actually hadn't heard about it ever until Jim told me about it on FB yesterday. Remember, I'm still new here haha.
  5. So I have the following on my calendar: Port Townsend Cruise on March 31st, Crosshaul Cruise on May 12th, and the Leavenworth Drive on June 16th. SO PUMPED! Really bummed I can't make it to the Stancewars thing today at Golden Gardens (which ironically is 5 minutes from my house) but I'm down in Portland! Are there any other big events I should put on my calendar in the coming months?
  6. Yea they do! Especially for keeping the Kings from coming to Seattle! ...oops wrong thread
  7. No no for sure. Thanks for all the info and links guys. Helps shed some light on everything.
  8. http://vimeo.com/37119711 Everyone should check this out. I know this forum can be a wonderful place of hilarious ridicule, but on a truly serious note, please take the time and watch this. And share as well! The more people who know about this movement, the better. Thanks guys.
  9. And with that, I take my leave from the Thread About Nothin peace!
  10. Haha I put out one simple sports poll question and y'all blow it up, wow! Thanks to those who did respond. I do host a show, yea. But I wanted to put this question out to all friends and available public so to get a mood of people in the northwest regarding Manning.
  11. Just taking a public opinion poll for some research- If Peyton Manning is cut and becomes a free agent, should the Seahawks sign him? Simple yes or no.
  12. Dude I wrote on your wall and just now realized it's leap day. That's hilarious! How are we supposed to celebrate your 21st?!
  13. Well the (crappy) Nascar announcers kept saying he was alright. They were on commercial break when it happened so I just don't think we saw the full extent of how it worked out. After Montoya's car hit it, it spun down into the grass. I think the driver of the jet dryer quickly got out of the truck and ran to safety, we just didn't see it. Still, just a completely nuts situation. It raged for so long, and at one point during the 15 minutes (which felt like an hour), something else blew up and everything shook. Crazy.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMYknUwHkpk&feature=related Glad to say everyone is alright but holy crap! Boom goes the Nascar!
  15. Probably, but it's great for people like me who don't use much trunk space at all anyways. I mean stuff, I don't use 80% of the space in my S60. I love the design.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=o0WtKn4edFo Beautiful car imo
  17. WANT. Wonder how much he'd drop the price...
  18. It will be paid back very soon by the arena's taxes. The arena will "pay for itself" as many people have now said. Still, 0 cost to the taxpayer.
  19. 0 public funding. Did you listen to the press conference? I'll post a link to the whole audio of it later on.
  20. It is!!!!!! Just heard it over the radio from the mayor that it's happening we'll have a stadium!!! GTFO.
  21. Do I even know what I'm talking about? Sorry I had to laugh at that one. Coming from a guy who uses skewed statistics. The Comcast Arena in Everette (where the Tips play) holds 9300 people and their average is over 8500. The ShoWare center in kent (home of the T-Birds) holds 6500 people and their average attendance is almost 4000. Also, most people don't go to Tips and Birds games because they are in Kent and Everette, not near the city, which enormously skews the stats. Denver's Pepsi Center is in the middle of the city and holds 18000 people with an average attendance of 15439. So let's take the Tips fans, add the Birds fans, and then add another 4K due to people actually going because the stadium is in the city. That's 16K. More than Denver. Hey buddy, get your damn facts straight. And I do remember, I've been going to Sonics games since I was 5. My Dad loved them so he would always take me. I smashed a few things with you know who bolted to OKC. They will be here soon and whether tickets or cheap or not, I know I'll be there many games. HAHAHAHA XD
  22. Well yes, as I did say, they aren't that good. With a new owner, and regenerated income from actually being in a city that supports them, they will have funds to get better players. I don't know how you can say Seattle isn't a hockey city. There's a ton of 'Tips and 'Birds fans that would all swarm to the new stadium to see hockey games. This is most definitely a hockey town. And after the excitement of the return dies down they will sell seats because they will have improved and the city will know it has to keep supporting this team- or else. I love hearing this kind of stuff. 5th grade season tickets haha that's a great story. Good to hear about the excitement and yes, you're right, we'll inherit a long rebuilding process. But it's 100% worth it. It is sad people aren't more interested but who knows, some time down the road when the Sonics are great again ('96) people will flock to them. Well it will be. And if you don't like talking about sports, let Spence and I take over this thread so we can have fun talking about who else should pay for the new Sonics in 2012! Hey, also I think Detleff Schremp (or however the hell you spell his name) should be a reserve hahahaha! It won't ever get to that level again. Fans know if it gets bad, we could be at risk to lose them again.
  23. Young by when I say their core is young. They have some older backups but my point is that there is room to grow. Let me say this- I find it a little funny how you guys (and so many other people) are bashing on these teams when they aren't even here yet...just be happy that we're getting teams at all. People in and around this city can't seem to just be thankful for something at all... I'm a sports radio host...this is my stuff Sesay!!! HAHA! How about him, and Geleball! Haha always loved how the Sonics PA announcer would call him "jelly-ball" hilarious!
