To an extent, yes. The Mariners are the obvious example of that. But we really drew some bad luck with Sexton, Beltre, and Cirillo who were all obviously on steroids before coming here. And Housh was never going to be good here because he didn't have a Robin to his Batman ego. Chad Ochocinco took much pressure off him in Cinci and when he came here, his ego exploded and he couldn't do it by himself as the long "star" receiver. Rice has shown he can be good here, and if Montero works out I think it's fair to say our curse may have been reversed.
DeMarcus Cousins may have some off-the-court issues but damn, he's a beast in the post.
