Some dumb kid a street away from me used to do this to his 92-ish Prelude lowered on chrome wheels and Canadian Tire muffler. He'd drive up and down our streets revving and pretending he had a manual... then a month or so later, I drove by his house and the car was sitting in his driveway wiht the whole front end smashed it. I think he rear ended something. :lol:

:lol: What's funny is, according to my brother, he used to havea 3.2CL Type S coupe but sold it for that VR6 thinking it would be faster with a chip. He doesn't have an account but he likes to come on once in a while and lurk around. He says his first car is either going to be a manual 850 N/A or manual/auto 850 Turbo. :D

I have a younger brother. He's 18.

My brother said some guy at his school got a Jetta VR6 and chipped it, and then told him that it would "smoke your brother's Volvo" . Apparently he also drives like a jackass in the school parking lot by screeching his tires and zooming around. Yup, both my brother and I think the majority of our generation is retarded.

Any methods you guys use for cleaning the door panels? I wiped 'em down with a damp cloth and it seemed to help a little but not enough for my liking.

My friend with an '03 Corolla XRS seems to think it requires 91 or 93 octane, and that anything lower would make the car run poorly and go "blub blub blub" at idle... :mellow:

So a while back I was able to pick up set of fairly new OEM Volvo pads from the junkyard to replace the POS aftermarket crap that the previous owner got for it. Three things I've noticed... braking was drastically improved, no more squeaking and...... omgosh so much brake dust. Thank goodness Volans are dark wheels to begin with eh? :lol:

Ughhh, the paint on my wagon is starting to fade again. This "Turtle Wax: Hard Shell Wax" sucks. I'm loving it, Matt! The BBK looks real sweet behind those wheels. Haha I still remember when we replaced our 850 NA with the Yellows, one of the first thing I noticed was how small the OEM brakes really were. Bigger wheels make them look tiny! :lol:

So I just got home from dropping my brother off at a friend's place. On the way home there was some young kid in a 940 GLE who was tailgating me on a narrow two lane road divided by a solid line. He decided to overtake me and I thought it was hilarious at how long it took . Looking out from the side of my eye, I could see his car just inching forward ever so slowly... struggling to get to a blister 70km/h... he didn't signal to when getting back in my lane but that's understandable. When traveling at those speeds, I can imagine it being hard to do anything else. :lol:
