Hmmm, good point. I definitely see myself keeping the car for a few years... maybe 5 or 6 (or when I can afford a GTI or S40) and within that time span, I would like to do some cosmetic mods (cup kit, etc)

I guess what I meant to say is, how much do you guys think it'll cost me to get someone to cut that out and weld in a new piece . It's not too big... maybe an inch or two in diameter. Man... seeing rust is really depressing .

I know I already posted this somewhere on the forum but I forgot to ask... How much do you think think it'd cost me roughly to get this fixed? I'm gonna check underneath my car again tomorrow, but I am pretty sure that is the only rust spot down there.

:lol: Are you serious? If you are, I can run this picture through photoshop and add in the numbers lol. I can try running it through Adobe Illustrator and make the lines black too haha.

I tried drawing a C30 yesterday and this is what I have so far: Do you guys think I should finish it off? I thought I'd try drawing different style bumpers because imo the IPD and Evolve stuff look like junk.

I'd be glad to help. Might be coming down to Florida for Christmas... yeah still a long ways lol. For a Mk3, I keep reading that if I get larger rims I'd be monster trucking...... but is this true even if I get proper sized tires? I'm running 195-60-14s right now and according to the tire size calculator, I would need 195-50-15 if I want 15" or 195-45-16 if I want 16". If I get those proper sized tires, would my ride height change at all? I want bigger rims but I like my stock ride height right now.

Key lime pie rocks! Whenever my family and I go to Florida we always make sure to get one . If my parents decide to sell one of the Yellows b/c of their Indiana move, I'll tell my dad to let you know first! It'd be nice to see one of them go to you rather than some random guy on Autotrader.
