yea i was thinking about running a little e-brake, but i really hate to ruin the clean and simple look of it. The welds aren't that pretty, but they're strong. I'm not too worried about it. Like I said, it's a temporary solution until i get my new wheels.

Thanks dood! It should be noted that EVERYTHING on that bike is completely original except tires and handlebar tape. The wheels and welded gears are staying for now, but some true "fixed" wheels are in the works...

Got mine from FedEx the other day, but have yet to take pics. It's a late 80's Schwinn World Sport my mom had laying around, so I decided it'd be a fun project. Drew (Dongle) will be helping me fix it up and swapping it to fixed gear. So it's in pieces at his place waiting to get cleaned and "modded." Mmmm...can't wait. I'll get some pics up soon! This is basically what it looks like now: I think my favorite thing is the sweet 80's decals. Soo pimp.
