Found some interior parts at the junkyard when I was looking for a heater core (didn't find the core) found two of the solid interior parts. Didn't think to take pictures before swapping the glove box (now I need to figure out how to swap the key hole)
Only parts I need now is the steering wheel, shift knob, dome light assembly, instrument cluster (already have it, doing when I replace the core) and passenger foot well cover. The trim around the radio is getting swapped with the new receive

Still not the best photographer, figured I'd post these though. Still running the drift spec bumper and junkyard fenders lmao (also, not sure if one of the pictures here will show up; haven't been online enough to get it figured out)
Bumped a snow bank, shattered my bumper earlier in the year. Not feeling great about it, though I do have a replacement coming in the mail and a few bits from a junkyard. Bumper isn't painted, but I'll be repainting the whole car black when the funds are available. New fenders from a green (I think? Or brown idk I'm color blind) s70, plus a few other parts from it. Fixed my center console and cup holders as the leather was aged and the cup holders were cracked

Purchased my S70 a couple months ago as a daily, recently started modifying it while it holds that job. it's been interesting, to say the least.
So far, ive added a custom exhaust, rebuilt turbo with an analog gauge, and fixed the odd dents acquired over time.
Currently rocking a spray can red paint job to prevent rust over winter, which will be polished to a consistent shine... eventual
I figured I would document my wrenching adventures as I have been wrenching exclusively on both RWD and FWD Volvo's for several years now to pass the time (and money).
I test drove a cheap 1995 Volvo 850 turbo on craigslist and became addicted to boosting in a T5, the car was faster than I thought it would be (honestly).
I bought the car, my first 850 turbo, for $900 from this chick who dented the left-front fender, broke the left-front fender, and a loud tick coming from the motor (which
Best (used 2003 & up) V70, model, engine, tranny for reliability?

new boots and spring coils.Started car as soon as all were replaced, great it

I just wanted to let people that a cem and the Ecm can now be purchased used and placed into other cars. I purchases a 2012 with a damaged CEM and had a used one reprogrammed. Volvo released the software for this to be done. I used Xemodex to do this transfer. They were very quick but expensive. Around $575 with a used module from them. Better than towing car to dealer and paying their prices.
So, i have a 98 S70 T5 manual. its lowered on ipds and bilstein struts. cold air with down pipe and exhaust... my next plan is to do an ECU and an inter cooler and Reverse inter cooler piping kit. im planning on doing it in steps.. which should i do first or be more effective? i know the ECU would help big time but im gonna do that after i do the inter cooler or reverse inter cooler piping kit. so which one is more effective, just an aftermarket inter cooler or a reverse inter cooler piping kit?
Okay so I have a 2004 Volvo s60, just had it inspected so im assuming this problem doesn't have anything to do with any parts that would need to be good for inspection. It sounds like my front drivers side tire is going to fly off my car >:0. Anyway, its making a grinding noise (pretty loud) as well as a rattling noise when im driving slow speeds or turning left. If i ride my breaks a little bit, the noise instantly goes away, and if the car is in park turning my steering wheel all the way ar
I cannot remove my key from the ignition. Key won't go to the "0" position. My shifter was replaced four years ago and the button is all the way out. Its an automatic transmission and has 175K for mileage. Trying to remove the key without having to take to dealer to have that entire system replaced which quoted at $600+. Please Help
I'm Looking into buying an XC90 but I have read some bad reviews. I was wanting to get some help and input on common problems with these vehicles, which engine is best and what to look for before and during a test drive. The year models I have been looking at are between '04 and '07. Thanks a lot!
I recently brought my car out from storage and after driving it i notice that on the boost gauge it will not build boost until very high RPM's (3800-4000) and when it does it is only reading 3-5psi and it doesn't seem to hold the pressure at WOT the car has a full 3" turbo back exhaust big flow cats and mufflers, and the turbo was upgraded to a 19T any thoughts would be great,
Hey folks, after my 1998 S70 had some electrical problems related to the battery fixed, my radio locked itself and doesn't work anymore. My local dealer wants to charge me for a simple lookup, so I figured I'd try here.
My radio is an SC-813 with the serial V01030 V8050603C.
Thanks!
