10 Badass Psi

For the time being, the car is actually boosting. I think the fact that my O2 sensors have crapped out has been the source of my months-long boost problems. Hope to fix them permanently soon.

Now I See Why People Like Na's

Two months later, I've got my Samco hose kit. Installed the two hoses to replace the two I know were bad, still no boost. Dammit. I'm considering disconnecting the BCS and seeing if that's the problem. In two weeks, after AP's, I'll install the other three as well as get some painting done on the calipers and engine components. Maybe the wheels, too (yeah right). I also need new tires, which I think I'll pick up this coming weekend.

A Week With The Gt30

Made a few more miles with the new setup. All in all I think near 500 miles or so. Had some minor issues like a wastegate gasket blowing out and a few bolt coming loose but most has been sorted out now. The boost curve needs some a djustemnt. I will receive a new chip tomorrow with higher boost settings over the mid rpm band. This way the torque will be back on the level where it was with the T3/T04 turbo. The higher rpm band is extreme. The car just keeps pulling all the way to 7200 RPM. At

Service, Future Mods

Bringing the car in for service tomorrow. Service will include putting my summer wheels (Perfos) on. They're on Toyo Proxes...hope they're nice. Hopefully this time they'll torque them to spec so I can get them off myself next time! Will also have timing belt replaced for the first time. I'm at 73,000+ miles, which I guess is pretty low for an 850. May it last another 73K. Looking to the future: H&R spings, tints, HIDs, clear corners/markers...nothing too outrageous.

Sunshine State, I Think

went to ft lauderdale this past weekend. how do they manage to, and why do they, make every high rise on the beach as aesthetically unpleasing as possible? looks ghetto. they could take some cues from the west coast. maybe it's the hurricanes and the only thing you can put on the outside of a building, and plan on staying there, is paint.
