Sad For My Car..

makes me sad to see how bad the rust is :S i think my best option is to find another 145 and build 1 out of 2 and store all the spare parts i can get in a storeage locker for it. down the street is an old warehouse thats rented out for storeing boats and working on cars ect should give the number on the building a call and find out how much they want for rent

Today Was Good

I was driving down La Brea Blvd in Hollywood this morning in my almost stock 2001 S60 2.4t when outta no where a Audi A6 runs up on me from behind and tailgates me, he revs so i slow down because we all know how audi drivers are. so were next to eachother at the stop light on la brea and fountain and lights green and that guy was so shocked when he heard my p2 s60 open up on him, it was as if the dude saw a ghost. in about two months and 10g's my volvo will meet the powerful hand of evolve. hah

My 850

I purchased a volvo that was profiled here for a while in September of 06 (here is the link to the original forum http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/Fs-1995-850...rea-t41950.html ). I'm an utter newbie to this site and have seen the frustration that newbies cause to the regular people posting so figured i would start this blog and see if any interest comes from it cause i'd hate to post without searching!! here is the description & the mod's listed on the previous link from the guy i purchased

Update - So, the imfamous Doug K just stopped by my house to pick up most of my engine parts (bolts, piping, oil pan, etc.). He also grabbed my Turbo which by way looks great all put together! So - Head should be complete next week. Doug is going to start the bottom end and should be ready for the head at that time. He say he may have the engine complete by Dec 1st. I will cart the M66 up to his place and we will assemble the clutch/trans/engine all together, wrestle it into the back of the

I drove two hours to the machine shop to check the progress on the head work. Things are moving... albiet slowly, but moving. On this project, it is Quality over Quantity. It's kind of hard getting good pictures of head ports with a crappy little camera but here it goes: So I guess you can figure out what angle this is from... at least it if from the intake side. Notice how the port has contoured all the way into the valve guides. We're opening that puppy up! Here is a closer view of

This thread not be dead!!! The Project is still alive. I just needed to devote some time to other priorities that popped up, etc. However, I think it's time to start bringing thing together and get this sucka running. So, an update. I've got all the guages installed and wired up into the dash. I fixed a jeweled headlight assy after breaking it trying to figure out a projector project that went sour. Anyway, got those back in. But for the meaty stuff. I got some of my polished parts ba

Just an update for today. I got the S60R shifter cable assy installed and routed up to the trans. I had to modify the mounting on the floor panel and went through about 20 of them flimsy Dremel cutting wheels. CJ is going to help me make some custom length connectors back on the shifter assy... then this part is done! Bing will soon be filling that empty spot below the gauge panel I've also been figuring out the wiring, cables, etc. and getting the front of the car back on. Here are t
