I have found a couple of s70's not R versions but GLT's. THey are in good shape and run good what things should I look for before I buy one. Sucks that they are auto's though.
Another (late) update of my to-do list! (In no order, really) 1. The car occasionally shivers. So. I just read an email from November (Oh how I've neglected this site!!! I had to graduate college, though.) about the MAF sensor. I feel much more educated now. I will first disconnect the MAF sensor to see if the car is running smoother without it connected. (The connection could be bad, too, so I will look at the connector to see if it has any buildup, etc.) My car has just passed the 125k mark,

well i just found this feature, or actually took the time to do so recently its been weird for me having a car and wanting to mod it it is a constant battle between my dad and me most of which is silent because his view is that it should run well and to save money as always i am saving money, and i know that before he was 25 he had over 5 cars, so he cant really protest to wanting to do something to a car anyway, i still dont even have enough cash anyway since $500 was stolen from me i didnt kno

When i arrived the speaker wire and rca's were ran throug hte dash and that was it. i had 6hrs to complete the job and it was definitly not happening. i got the amps and cap wired up in about 2 hours, while everyone else played wiffleball out back. I just returned from an extended weekend trip to Seattle and Portland, to do some much needed shopping mainly, and I was excited to meet some of the NWC in person. The real reason for heading to Seattle was that the wife was going there for some corporate meetings, and I tagged along so that we could hang out just the two of us, and shop at some stores that we don't have in Anchorage. We stayed at the WAC, which was really nice, in downtown Seattle, which had Wifi in the room, so I was just a

Hmmmm. A few tiny additions: (I just got a free rotate and balance today! yeay!) Flickering light issue has gone away (perhaps temporarily) after my dad tapped... ok, more than tapped on the door lock assembly part. It hasn't been flickering lately (I've probably just jinxed myself.) Anyways, I was told to take a look to see if there were any shorts from a member here. I will do that, but after my trip to Florida - if anything, I might go to a junk yard and asee how much they charge for a used
More stuff to check off! (I'm on a roll this week!) So my NEW list of to do's (in order of importance) is: 1. Rotate & Balance - she could use one, not badly, but a good idea. Also, flickering light issue which could very well go under #3, cept it's a different door. So that could mean I need 2 door lock assemblys. Arg. 2. Spark plug wires, rotor, & distributor. (Got new plugs....need to get on the rest of it for a true tune-up!!!) 2. Driver side passenger door lock - won't pop up wh
Yeay! I (with the help of my dad and my boyfriend) fixed a bunch of stuff, so, I can cross off the air pump, valve and gasket, tranny flush and also the dash and radio lights!! Amazingly, the door rattling went away on its own.. maybe I scared it away with my threats. Alas, though two more things I will have to add. The left side panels (on driver and rear passenger doors) have started to infamously bubble. I will try to fix this myself with help from the family, but we'll see. So my NEW lis

So i want a new car. WEll., not really new. I want a project car. See, the 850R was my baby. Not modded out, but respectably individual. Now, i have this thing, this new to me car, the V70 and it just isnt the same. Its like a rebound. Never good. So anyway. Jessica and I are about to get married and to the marriage's automotive table she brings a 1990 Buick PAark Avenue. Affectionately called Lady Chablis. I cant stand the car. Its big, slow, and scary to drive. My volvo feels possi

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

so today was my 3rd day at Audio Express as an installer. It was slow as stuff today, i didn't even touch a car, and the cars that did come through got snatched up by the other new guy. This guy started 2 days before me, is the same age as me, but has been installing stereos for 2 years as a job. He has been making me look like aa jerk for the past 2 days he's not doing it on purpose (i don't think) but since he's done it before he's okay, while every car i've gotten so far was not a straight
