So I have a 1999 S80 T6 and everything is great, except the Heater Core is leaking! I found it but I cant find any way to get it out. Does anyone know how I can go about doing this? After taking apart the passanger space and seeing the little leak I still could not see how it can come out. So if any one knows I can please send any and all info I would much appreciate it. Try to respond to this blog and if no luck then try my e-mail, thanks acarsey@gmail.com
OK, I never used a Blog before. I have a technical questions on a 1995 Volvo 850 T5R. Engine would not start yesterday. I am not getting a pulse at the injector or a spark. I have fuel pressure. I used the probe and LED to flash a code out of A2 of 3-2-5, (ECU Memory Failure). I disconnected battery power, removed ECM, shook it, and replaced it. The car started and drove for about 1 mile before dying. Now, the ECU does not spit out any codes when the button is pushed (LED does not blink)

Sometimes my car will start and sometimes it won't. I've heard that if you tap the starter a few times it will work. But will i have to get a new starter if the tapping doesn't work? Maybe it's the connection.
I am new to the site and was wondering if anyone could help me with a question. I have a 98 C70 and i am gonna get an Aftermarket CD player installed in it. I was wondering if anyone might know if there are any parts or adapters that i might need to purchase to make it work. I have heard of people having trouble installing stereos in Volvos because the stock stereos are so complex. Anyways if anyone has any answers to my question please send me a message or comment on my blog. Thanks
Just finished my fIrst week of driving a Volvo. I just bought a 2004 S60R/auto ( I wanted the 6 speed but the wife may have to drive it soo...) It is still a freakin' blast to drive and the look on the faces of the kids with the chipped-out Hoda Civics with the coffee can exhaust as I drive away form them at the light is priceless... what a sleeper this car is. I did the research and found that this model is a bit more to own per mile (+/- .70), the reliabiltiy, safety, and performace are compe
Just a few days ago, put the TD05 Turbo (running 15PSI) on (Mitsubishi GSX turbo) and a new Inter Cooler, the first few installs were S80 breaks, a hood scoop for the intake vents, and a Light throw push button five speed with a larger 5th gear, and an AutoMeter boost gauge. Next on the line up, new intakes (loosing a LOT of engine power because of the bad intakes, the turbo is basically blowing hot air instead of cold, the intercooler helps, but it's not as good as it could be) anti strut bars

The engine torn apart and laid out ready to get cleaned with the power washer. Bored out to fit the oversized pistons. Short block assembled. Here is my engine. I finally got it all back togeather at school and am waiting on the trans now.
Got the intake mani and other parts removed. Gettting close to pulling it out, only a few bolts and stuff left. One freshly pulled engine. The engine bay, naked. Stack of parts pulled from the engine.
This is just an overall picture of some normal rebuild parts along with my manual trans. My GT3071R turbo, wiseco pistons and H beam rods. Ported out intake mani to fit my N/A TB. Assembled rods and pistons. The great and perfect ViVa Diff. I powdered coated my intake mani and have it assembled and ready to go back on. This shows my turbo (Powder Coated to Glow in the Dark) set up to my S60R exhaust mani. And the exhaust mani is ported to match gasket and is polished for better flow.

I have been diagnosed with a 4th Shift Noid Cylander stuck in the off position by the internal computer. Any recommendations for repair in San Diego that won't break the bank?
So far the car has the following: -Stylin' Motors Silicon Vac. Lines -Autometer CF Boost Gauge -XC Grille. New tires are in the shop...Continental ContiExtremeContacts 225/45. I have 3 17" Pegs already refinished in Duplicolor Silver. The third wheel ships out tomorrow, so the Pegs should be on the car by next friday. I have a 3BarRacing MBC waiting to go on the car. I can put it on once the new tires get on, because the tires on right now are roasted. I will set it to 12 psi. Next mo
08/06/07 ABS Module removal. I removed the memory module. It took about an hour to locate and remove the ABS module. Pretty tight fit under the brake booster. I found some great instructions for the removal process from http://www.modulemaster.com/volvoabsremoval.html. I am sending this abs module in for a rebuild. This appears to be a cost effective alternative to having the dealer do the repair. I didn't actually go to the dealer for an estimate but I have heard from reliable sources that th

Why Hyundai should buy Volvo! One could argue the finer points of safety in favor of each company, but both bring to market a superior product where the synergies could prove overwhelmingly impossible to overlook. Hyundai has luxury products ready to roll, but no distribution system. Of course there are 750 plus Hyundai dealers in the US already, but few are prepared to accommodate high-end clientele. Plus keep in mind the US is only 1 market and Volvo has a worldwide distribution system whe
