Why pass judgement on somebody elses car it is his car not yours. I have personally met the guy and he is way chill, probably one of the coolest people i have ever met. Each person has there own ideas of what they want to do to their car and i could sit here all day and point out everything that i dont like about each and every single persons car, but im not going to do that, why? because that would be wrong of me. Everyone should stop hating on him and point it towards something else that does need to be hated on, like Grant for instance . If you guys havent noticed his car says volvo. I dont give a rats jerk what parts and sh1t his car is made of it says volvo and we should accept him as a member of the volvo community. Why hate on just S40's you dont see me hating on 700's or 900's which i dont like but im not going to start a rant about it. We all know that my car is stock (soon to be modified) and i spend all my time on this forum to gain more knowledge about the car that i own and because we all share a common interest and that is a love for volvos. It shouldnt matter what their car looks like, as long as they have done what they like to the car that is all that matters.

although there are a few very cocky people on here....I like this forum...its full of good people who know their volvos...being an ex supra owner i seen way worse forums (like supra forums....the worst forum on the planet, everyone there is rude, the mods want to show their butts, and everyone thinks they are awesome cause they have a supra)...this message board is one of the best I've been on...the people here are almost as good as the people on turbo dodge.com...lol...I have to say, the people on td.com are the nicest people by far

but if you dont like it here...and dont like being a part of this forum...why come here and make matters worse...let the guys have their fun...and they will eventually stop making fun of the car and this thread will go where all threads go after they get old....but the more you guys come back and antagonize (sp?) the longer this thread will last

hey! i like my 9 year old stock car, at least it's fast!

I like old ones too, but the 40 still has potential as many people are proving.

I dont want black bezels, and they are hard to get for a phase 1

I dont mind that people dont like it, it is just funny to me that someone would take the time to take pictures of someone elses car just to bash it.

As far as the 10 year old cars go, I like most of them and would defend them is someone smashed on it. We are volvo guys wheteer you guys like it or not.

-the headlights and corners will never match because I have yet to find a way to take the corners apart to paint them without breaking them.

The banner used to fit, but my car got keyed and they ruined the sides of it. Just got the paint fixed and havent gotten around to that yet.

To the haters, you can hate all you want I like my car and to me that is all that.

As far as the spoiler goes, I have it on about half the time and off the other have. The downforce is noticable (obviously it is a big spoiler) and i like the way that is feels. And the suspension does have kinda a wierd stance in the back but that is what the H&R's give me and I have had other springs on there but this handles the best.

-On a side note, I think that it is funny that most of the people haten drive stock cars that are 10 years old.
