    SO. Friday, Great Lakes brewing company did me in during a work meeting on Friday. Ended up having to call my man of interest and his brother to come pick my drunk ass up.

    The next morning, I work up and just kinda went 'AH!' when I looked in the mirror after washing my face. I had a pretty decent black eye. Now, I don't know how I got it. It's either from:

    1) Starting to get sloppy and hit/injured myself Friday night.

    2) My friend and his brother gang raped me, lightly hitting me in the face.

    3) Man of Interest flails in his sleep, hit me.

    4) ALIENS!

    or, what I've been saying

    5) Bear attack while salmon fishing.

    But, yea, day 3, still nice and purple. At least not near as swollen... but, yea, I need to do my eye brows!

    This all started as a girl who wanted attention and to do so just about posted a pic of her vag....to a discussion on racism.

    The whole thread is :lol: !!

    Like most have said, most of my threads start with :insert 'cartwheels on the beach' type photo: and then 'Let's see what the fuck you guys can spin this off to!'

    But, I think that's one of my only jobs here on VS: Post 'inappropriate' pictures for fapping/mocking and just show the proper forum attitude of 'Yo BRO, why so serious?'

    Moral of the story, I got more balls than all of y'all!

    So what's the story behind the octopussy tat? Why the design and why the location?

    Not exactly sure. I came across the sketch one day on Google, printed it out, loved it for a year or so. Finally went back and found the girl's FlickR account, asked permission to get it tattooed, sat on the idea another 9 months, and then went out and got it done. I don't know, I'm attracted and fascinated by strange findings, animals, places, ect.

    I guess if you want the "what's the MEANING behind your tattoo" sorta BS story... 1) Octopusses are awesome, intelligent, and can suck like a champ. 2) the little ship, cause I'm a sailor and all that jazz 3) "Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always on top" Hunter S. Thompson. 4) Sea stories are a great form of sotrytelling/bullshit. A fine line I like to walk.

    I was going to get this on my ribs. BUT after drawing it on a few times myself, I decided I like being able to 'hide' it a little better...plus surprises are AWESOME! It's like "oh look at that cute little pirate ship hip tat....awwww" :Pants off: BAM! Motha fuckin' GIANT OCTOPUSSSSS!!!!! And, risque tentacles are awesome.

    Plus, as I get older, and Hugo sags (Yup, his name is Hugo) which is inevitable, he'll just get longer tentacles and not look stupid!

    the little 'caution high voltage' or whatever is just to cover up a tad of the no-no zone... it's actually a pretty awesome picture, but the perspective is weird that you guys would go 'OMG BARE VAG!!!" but in reality its just a small portion of it. (I know this due to other markings not shown in that area to figure out how much is actually exposed) Used high voltage as a warning since I wouldn't put it past some of you to put your dick in the computer.

    Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I hate stupid little tattoos. Like, girls who get music notes, flowers, stars, ect. on their feet.

    So last night I hosted some couchsurfers (Couchsurfing.org) who were riding from Key West, FL to Niagara Falls, NY! I was Day 39 of their 50 day journey. They are raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project, and have never cycled out of state so I was pretty damn impressed! Nice guys too, check out their webpage and what not: www.mikeandnate.com

    Ahhh first world problems... my friend is home from the Peace Corp where she's been living in the mountains of Ethiopia. So everything we've been doing (eating, indoor plumbing, dancing @ club/bars, ect) we keep telling her "Oh, just like Ethiopia right?!"

    She came home telling us how if she wants bread, she need to go to a farmer, get grain, go to the mill, mill the grain, bake the bread, ect. Wants chicken? Buy or catch a chicken, kill it, pluck it, gut it, cook it. Also, my personal favorite, she averages 10 gallons a week water consumption.... that includes bathing, cooking, drinking. During the dry season it goes down to 2-4gallons a week. :blink:

    I'll never understand hippies....
