  1. yea, after taking a glance at her after work yesterday I was thinking 25 in the rear and 15 up front.

    Salem,

How did it look w/ the 20s in the front?

Tom the 20mm in the front made it look like it should(although it felt like the turing radius was affected slightly), brought the wheels more flush with the side of the car and rubbing was NEVER an issue (lowering springs and konis)

if i were to do it over again i think i would do 15mm up front and the much needed 25mm in the back. I think that would be just right, b/c the rears with 20mm look like they could use more as there is still room to fit with the way the body curves and bulges in the back

  2. tom

I have 20mm on the rear and they work great on the c70. i even had them on the front for a while as well. it might even be better if you put the 25mm on the rear as it will appear to fit just right

i'm pretty sure the bolts on the 20mm are the same as stock width (19mm right?) and longer

in any case the spacers are a nice touch

  3. Greg, anyone taking time out of their lives by helping to make off the shelf Volvo aftermarket parts more available to the end user is alright by me, and hopefully everyone else here can realize the value and intent of your efforts :)

    +1

  4. the stock rims are 225/45/17

    on a 7.5 i think

as long as the wheels have the same overall dimensions you should be fine

if anything you could always get some spacers

the problem is minimal if any

    edit

actually 245 might rub a hair up front

  5. the verts are worse than the coupes..

but im sure if Slater finds somewhere to place it for the c70 vert, it'll give a little added help to the coupe too.

i dunno where that brace may go though... here is a pic of what the stripped coupe trunk looks like...

    IPB Image

volvo makes a chassis brace for the c70 verts that straps along the middle of the car on bottom (kinda like an X), i wanted to try it on the coupe but never got around to doing it, maybe someone else wants to be the guinea pig and let us know  ............................its available though from volvo

  6. he just said leave the ME alone. So lets build a wall between the geographic areas and be done with it. And for your information I do know the rules of war were taken from Islam and other areas rules of war in islam

    I love this part

"The 20th Century Muslim scholar, Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi writes,

"...the exegetists and jurists have drawn the principle that those who are non-combatants should not be killed during or after a war."

"'No prisoner should be put to the sword' is a very clear and unequivocal instruction given by the Prophet...'The Prophet has prohibited the killing of anyone who is tied or is in captivity.'"

yeah they have done a good job living up to their own code.

and to your point about if they represent Islam, they do. If someone claims to be a muslim then they represent their religion everyday by they way they conduct themselves. If someone claims to be a christian than they too represent their religion. They way we conduct ourselves represents many things. Even when I was in the Army and wore the uniform I knew I represented something larger than myself and I had to live my life in a manner that reflected well on the instutition I was a part of.

the reality is we are all human and that is not the case.

if some phsyco butchers his family because he is mentally ill and then upon prosecution they ask, what is your faith or what religion are you(being born into it or whatever) and he says budhhist, is it safe to say "oh all budhists are violent!" NO

even in the military there are those who get court martialed and dishonorably discharged meaning they did not live up to this representation hence the "dishonorable"

as well as women and children and the elderly (basically innocent civilians)

my point exactly, its not their code and nor should one assume in any way that they represent the religion. its about politics. period.

look at it as a cult if you will and we all know cults are crazy

  8. so does that mean put a wall around the Middle East, do not allow people in or out and let them kill themselves off? If so I am all for it :D

I have several friends in the middle east and everyone of them HATE islam. Some are male some are female and all of them say Islam is a generally monkeyed up "religion" and they can not wait to get out of the countries they are in.

what an ignorant thing to say. because they so happen to be muslim does that mean they represent islam? hell no!!! and to call them "fundamentalist" is as far from the truth as you can get. do you know that the humanitarian rules of war that the United Nations drafted were adopted from the teachings of Islam? Get educated!

by the same logic if hitler was a christian than all christians are anti semetic?

can you say brain washed by political propoganda??????????
