  1. ok so I need to stick to 40mm offset or give or take a few mm, like 37-42 or so and keep the 5x108 bolt pattern which cannot be any different? and keep it the same width, 7in. correct ? Im looking at like edgeracing.com and the like. haven't looked round here in the FOR SALEs yet. can't get adapters $$ tight already !

You can get 17x8 or 18x8 but you just have to be careful with the tires you select. Make sure you read a little bit on here. People have posted more info than you can imagine.

  2. How destroyed is the old one? If it's just cracked in half with no major chunks gone I might be able to make a mold from it. Interested in selling it?

Lets just say the large piece of the earth that was in the highway took a chunk out of his oil pan also. I dont think there was much left to saw about the lip.

  3. Do you have a straight on shot because your grille is in sweet shape.

I can try to dig up some old photos. That was taken about 9 months ago and over the summer I painted the grill black...so I wont be able to just take a photo. Ill post a couple more that my be helpful, I have higher res ready to email if you want them also.

If someone still has February's south Florida meet hosted somewhere then there should be a lot of good high res shots in there. I just cleaned out my computer a couple weeks ago...so I dont have all the pictures anymore.

Heres one more I dug up:

  4. it says right on the email flyer that its 70 hp and 80 ftlbs... (If I Recall Correctly)

Estimated. They usually inflate those numbers and then round up. It has potential after a few more things with the kit. Its not a horrible price for that setup though. I think if you bought everything seperately from IPD it would come out to be about $3300. Definately ways to get that cheaper but if you have the cash, its a good way to at least get a start on a car.

I would much rater gone to private school, just not a religous one :)

The only private schools around my house were religious. I went to one for 2 years and absolutely hated it. There are so much better things to learn about in todays world than religion IMO. I can say that the public education, at least in my town, was just as good (if not better) as the private education. Actually, I felt that because the private school tried to cut costs in some areas, they would go through teachers more frequently. Many of those teachers were fresh out of school and didnt have a very good understanding of how to get through to high schoolers. At a public school the teachers generally have an easier time staying there longer and have a good system to teach to the students.

I guess this goes both ways, but I tend to see it more at the public school I attended.

  6. you do realize that these lights would be completely illegal. Just letting you know that you can end up with a hefty fine for blue lights on the exterior of the car. Blue is reserved for police. Thats why most underglow kits are green. Of course I could be wrong with all this. Im 90% sure that blue is illegal. If you are just doing this for show course its fine but if you are going to cruise down the road with these on you run the risk of getting pulled over and the potential for "impersonating a police officer". Trust me, I know someone that got that down here in FL.

  7. Yeah, I thought of that .. but it doesn't do anything. I had a fuse go out once on my 240 that fried the dimmer switch, and I had the same exact problem. Once I replaced it, everything was fine. I think I'm going to try and replace this one and see if that's it. Any idea on how I could test the one I have to see if it works properly?

The switch? Hook up a voltometer (dunno how to spell it) to see if its getting 12v like it should. That would be my guess on how to test it. Well I guess that would test the lines before it. Electricity is not really my thing.

  8. Some zip ties and she'll be good as new man. Glad everyone is ok. Ive had the same luck as you. Two rear-end collisions and Ill admit one was definately my fault but going 50+ in a Dakota quadcab when a Honda locks their tires right in front of you is no fun. Ill just have to say, she had some issues opening what was left of her trunk after that. Good luck with everything man.

  9. Most likely wont be able to make it to this one. Gotta work all weekend. I dont like to take time off, since I may never get the hours back. Ill be at the track on Wednesday if any locals want to swing by.

Btw, Eric what time do you plan on starting everything on Saturday. I can go for a little while if there are gonna be people there in the morning. Gotta work in Daytona at 5 pm though.
