The people who deal on the street are just a small part of a very big picture.

And? Stop building upon such a trivial aspect of the big picture. People receiving welfare should be drug tested. Drugs are illegal, and to receive government aid, we should do what we can to make sure those people receiving money from taxpayers are utilizing it in a legal way. I could not care less if they spend it on strippers or booze. They are already on welfare, I'm not expecting much, just keep the money in the system.

Drug dealers pay taxes and buy things too. So you don't mind if welfare money gets spend on those things as long as it's not on drugs?

People on welfare are not buying large quantities of drugs. The money they give dealers is enough so that the dealer can buy more drugs to sell, and make a couple bucks. If money is being spent on legal goods and services, it is fine. I don't like welfare because it is a way to enable those who are too lazy/ignorant to figure out life on their own. Welfare is good for some people, but can be taken advantage of too easily. And since welfare is not going anywhere anytime soon, it might as well be added on to as opposed to ended. So develop a way to ensure that welfare money goes only to legal goods and services, and we can call it a good start.

This won't work. You can test for drugs but there are other things the money can be used for: stip clubs/hookers, alcohol, gambling, designer clothing, electronics, and many other things that are not essential to survival.

Those all go back into the economy. Wages for strippers, tax on alcohol, profit on clothing/electronics.

Test for drugs, the money that the government gives out should stay in the legal market, where it came from. Once that money passes into the black market it is essentially gone.

So the house I stayed in over spring break was apparently occupied by a 9/11 hijacker...was kind of weird. Cops informed us when they showed up for a noise complaint. :lol:

Just got back from a week of waking up, making mixed drinks before breakfast, getting back from breakfast and playing asshole through the afternoon, showering, drinking, clubs, pool party. Fratastic spring break.

Just made it past stage 1 of an internship application process. Business management position. I'm an elementary education major. Beat out econ and international affairs. Pretty stoked right now

so i went to the doctor today and got some medicine for my nausea they had to take a bunch of my blood too

What did they give you/diagnose it as?

the main problem was i woke up at 2pm yesterday lol. and had work at 4. nothing i had to make for dinner sounded good so i didn't eat. then i went to a movie with this girl and got home around midnight. also, being high does not make you forget everything you did in a day lol.

when i wake up in the mornings i'm always nauseas, i dunno why but it's happened for a couple years and i can never get myself to eat breakfast and i soemtimes don't eat lunch. so on the weekends when i sleep in a bunch i usually don't eat til dinner. it's not very healthy but i end up throwing up a lot otherwise it's one of the reasons i continue to smoke... it usually makes it go away. i have work in an hour though.

Go the doctor. Tell him you're nauseous in the morning, can't hold food down, and then ask him about Nexium. I had the same problem as you (didn't smoke to "combat" the symptoms however ) and after about 2 months on the purple pill my stomach hasn't bothered me once. Sounds like your stomach lining is not 100%; Nexium, or whatever generic alternative they might have, treats that pretty well.

I love this trend of poorly & 'might as well be' randomly picking mods.
