  1. mark your intake looks great!! Your piping sizes are identicle to mine... they are going to be swedish twins! where did you get the vacuum nipples you welded to your intake? still havent done that and my bpc is not functioning correctly. Also maybe its a stupid question (dont know volvos well) but why do you have two vacuum lines from the intake? do you guys also use a 3 line BPC?? your catch can should work great how you have it set up. i just ran one line from the top of my valve cover to the catch can and put a tiny k&n filter on it for a vent... works great. How has the wiring been? i think i have decided to plug it in and tune it on the dyno with my stock fuel system so its driveable on the EMS and next im going to do a full fuel system and convert to E85... no sence wasting money on injectors now and then switching in a few months... although its very frustrating to not have the power i know its capable of. Also how did you decide to do the harness? directly spliced into current wires, or are you doing a plug and play harness using plugs from a stock ECU? I have a very good information source for this standalone BTW if you PM me on saablink i will find the site for you. Have you studied your swedish lately?? :)
  2. Thats the final tubular manifold, whys it look funny? You cant see that huge GT35R hiding in there? Its hard to miss! It does have an external WG coming off of it too, that could be why you think it looks funny? The only thing i plan on moving as of now is where the intakes sitting, thats a rush job and is sucking in hot air. I plan on moving the battery to the trunk, moving the radiator over flow to where the battery was, and then moving the intake away from the header and heat shielding it, and putting a few slots in my new CF hood for some extra cold air. Mark how big are you doing your intercooler piping? Your doing a 4" DP down to a 3" exhaust or 4" all of the way?? and 4" intake??
  3. pft. 5 injectors. Good luck! Im going to be back in sweden on the 3rd but the cars going to be running as soon as i fly home and plug him in. Good luck and dont forget to keep me updated! (I still think a 255 is a bad choice... can you fit a 044 in tank?)
  4. you need to look up on saabs before you make a statement like that! Most saab motors will start to fall apart around 300WHP. (like the motors found in a 9-3 and NG900 and 9-5... find out what model saab your buddy has) My motor is a B234R motor. (came in the 9000 aero) Look it up. Strongest saab motor built... you can run 500HP on them safely. Most people dont push the limits to see exactly how much but im guessing i could get 550 crank out of him before it blows. Im not worried about it i have another motor with lower miles (b234r) that im building to take more power. Anyways what are the power goals on this car? Its been a couple of weeks since we have talked! BTW 400whp in a saab in almost unheard of. I mean maybe four in the US.
  5. I was just reading through your build... did you say 650cc injectors and a walbro 255? thats wishfull thinking.... what type of HP numbers are you shooting for? Especially with that built motor of yours you should need wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more fuel then that! Im looking a 750cc's to start with and already gone to a bosch 044 fuel pump. Your not going to have enough fuel... im already concerned about my setup.
  6. Trying to catch up, eh? Im still finishing my wiring harness. My car however has been up and running like a champ for the last month. Throws down 300 to the wheels completely untuned..... stock injectors, stock fuel pump and stock ECU. Ive decided im going to bump the power up to over 500 once the NIRA wiring is finished and see how much this motor can really take on stock internals. I am all about breaking things! Keep me updated on your car and stick around TSL. ;)
