I'd love to see his sources.

I didn't know that, I'd been told she was.

What are the qualities of a good moderator?
1. Number of posts?
Yes, this really will tell you who will make a good moderator.

ditto!
How about the pain she'd go through to get back in good enough shape to start moving again? I'd be hoping for an afterlife.

Kevin - Suspended 7 Days - Won't stop the infighting. Attempts to end it were met with more provokation. Took the only action I could think of to make it stop.
Doug - Suspended 7 Days - Same thing, and even tried to spread it over the whole forum, probably succeeded, I'll have to wait till I get home to find out what happens over the next few hours.

Ken, but does humanity say she should be starved as the way to expire?
She's brain dead, what does it matter?

15 years...
Man, if I was in a coma that long I wouldn't want to deal with the stuff one would have to deal with when waking up, so I'd say axe me right away...

"Learn Hebrew in 13 Days"
I got that one two. Stereotype?

No one is innocent. And if tomorrow a war was leaning in on your town would you stay? Or would you pack up?
I would pack the monkey up and move the monkey out FAST.

I believe that the death penalty should apply to all regardless of age. If one has the maturity and wherwithall to plan and execute a murder, a person is certainly eligable for the death penalty in my book. I personally think that there should be a time limit set on the appeals process in death penalty cases. More death row inmates die of natural causes in their cells than die at the hands of the government.
It's not just appeals, there are also "death" rows where the states haven't actually executed anyone in a while because they don't feel like it, IIRC.

It hasn't happened to them so they will all say they don't feel like the death penalty is necessary or some crap like that.

This thread should be called "how are we going to fix the justice system" because that is where it appears to be going.
It's a waste of time though.
There is no win-win situation unless crime stops completely. There will always be flaws and problems.
I actually think this entire argument that the thread is based on is null though. Take a bunch of law and CJ and US Politics classes and you will realize that decisions that make and change the law are made all the time because Judges must interpet the law. Different people have different interpretations and sometimes justices will bend the law as much as possible to get the best outcome they can.
There are a few types of views on the law, and I'm not going to get into them, but not everyone believes it should be treated the same way you believe it should.
Some of us believe in justice. I think those kids should get the penalty, but the law says they shouldn't because obviously they don't know write for wrong or understand what they did...
Do you have more details on this case? Transcripts perhaps?

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Killing is wrong.
I'm a mathematics man.
Two negatives = a positive.
(But only when convenient.)
Quite frankly I have no problem with killing someone for something like the Puerto Rican Day Parade incident, let alone just murderers...
Does this actually work? No. There are thousands of reasons why it's a horrible idea. But it wouldn't make me upset if it somehow did work... and happened...
But how did this conversation start anyway?
The point is, the supreme court is there to make these kind of rulings. You disagree? Try to become a justice.

why keep them on death row for so long?
because of liberal hippy assholes and the fact that we dole out the death penalty much to easily, resulting in a rare innocent man supposedly being on death row.

I am all for anything that keeps my taxes down, and the death penalty is one of them. Yes, my $5.00 is more important than some scumbag serial killers life, crazy or not.

The company is paying too much.
GO SPEEDPASS!

Yeah, other wise who will pump out petrol, and wash our windshields
All the guys at my gas station are like 3rd gen citizens at least.

That might kill my decision to drive around for 3 hours sometimes and just listen to music, and that's not cool. Instead lets tax immigrants more and THEN drop bombs on their home countries.

My dad's S80 T6 is the only car in my driveway that gets more than 19 MPG.
It's not just SUVs.
Edit: The 740 TI might, too, I don't know what that gets.
