wtf happened here?
Double shift, feel asleep at the wheel. Ran it into the woods, somehow the guy got out and found the spotlight and was waving it, that's how he was found. Pretty scary stuff to imagine being in that guys position.
edit: better cab photo

So I read on Lou Reed's wikipedia page that in an interview, he said when he was younger, they tried to 'shock' the homosexuality out of him via electroshock therapy. Add that to the list of things in the history book the human race will be ashamed to have done. At the time, I suppose it was considered a fairly good idea. Just like we thought the world was flat and heroin was a good cough medicine. Well, bad example. It is a good cough medicine
That whole scene was a mess, at least by then society was over bloodletting haha

If I understand correctly, there's one big fail in that infographic. They said the insurance surcharge is $300, but then used that figure to say it is 100% profit for the ins. industry. While possible, highly unlikely. Just playing devil's advocate. I don't care about a fine for speeding; I only care about the insurance hike, tax, fine, whatever we want to call it.
eh? Ticket makes for ~$300 in surcharges resulting in $10.2 billion in profit for insurance companies, didn't get the sole stream of revenue bit from it...maybe i'm missing something :D

The only shows I watch on TV is the Sunday night line up (simpsons, cleveland show, family guy, american dad) and the Office, and then I watch modern family on hulu. Everything else on TV looks pretty gay, and I only have channels 1-24.
Yeah, i don't have cable so i just find shows online to watch.
Californication, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy (can't help it ), and top gear are pretty much the shows i watch when i miss TV.
Quoting Simon and Garfunkel, "I can gather all the news I need on the weather report." haha
Also, i love the onion:
Utah Fans Concerned As Jazz Break Huddle By Shouting 'Kill The Mormons'
May 3, 2010 | ISSUE 46•17
SALT LAKE CITY—An uneasy sense of anxiety overtook the crowd at EnergySolutions Arena Sunday as fans watched a pumped-up Jazz team break their pregame huddle by chanting, "One, two, three—kill the Mormons!" "Normally this team is pretty even-keeled, but tonight they're really scaring me," said season ticket holder Delton Stanger, who was terrified by the team's cheers of "Die, Mormons, die" and "We're coming for you, Mormons." "I just don't understand why all my favorite players want to kill us and why it's inspiring them to play with such passion." Utah fans were reportedly appalled when head coach Jerry Sloan used a dry-erase board to diagram how to find the Mormons, round them up, and kill them, but admitted their anger was tempered by the team's resultant 15-0 run.

Tell me about it, i'm budgeting next year and only going in with x amount of cash. Although watching ~$500 explode in the sky with a good buzz and playing with assorted other exploding objects is pretty satisfying.
