naw, i wont be coming back to western PA anytime soon. the company i intern/work for won a couple contracts on I-94 around the Milwaukee area so Ill be working on one of those this summer.

...but I kinda wish I was going back to the Burgh. Also Im pretty sure they will still be blowing up the old bridge and dropping it into the river sometime this summer. Something to take the kids to. :lol:

First day on my new jobsite Working part time till finals are done in mid may.

When I asked how much I will be working once I start full time, my PM said between 50-70 a week. :blink:

I've seen, on many occasions, troopers "clear" the left lane by climbing in to people's back seats. The frustrating part is that after they move over to allow the trooper by, they'll return to the left lane. I don't understand why the police allow this.

saw that happen yesterday on the Illinois Tollway...trooper came up behind a car doing 80 or something in a 55 zone. got on his ass for a while till the guy moved over and the cop took off probably close to 100 till he reached the next guy...mind you this was on a 4 lane road.

and then the next guy he reached must have not realized there was a cop up his ass because he didnt moved over for him, so the cop just passed him after being on him for over a minute or two.

too bad i was without internet for the last three days...last night and two nights ago were great...engineering competition in indiana...copious amounts of summer shandy and pbr were consumed. B)

im a senior...and will be a 5th year senior next year ...co-op program, so i will have done this competition a total of 4 times before i graduate.

and yeah Terre Haute is in Indiana pretty much due west from Indianapolis.

off to terre haute, in for an engineering competition....racing canoes made out of concrete. :D

yeah theres an actual story line to it all and it works well. definetely some good laughs...that and seeing an 11 year old girl own grown men was awesome. :lol:

saw Kick-Ass...pretty good. definitely a different movie from what they make it out to be in the previews.

bowling team swept the opposing team. took all three games. 111, 175, 184 B) ...i attribute the first game to having crappy beer. 2nd and 3rd games we had blue moon. :D

I didnt do any of that and only had to spend half a day...didnt get selected. They must not of wanted a college kid on the jury.

...sad to see the name go. if my family ever took a trip or something, if Midwest flew there we chose them. been declining for quite a while now. used to have great service, the extra wide seats, and they used to have meals with actual silverware and glasses, no plastic stuff.

4 weeks left of skool and then one week of exams. cant wait.

that sucks...never took you for the casino type. my only experience with the PGH casino was on my last night in the Burgh...one of the project managers i was with gave me 10 bucks...turned it into 30 5 minutes later...i was satisfied with that.

and on another note...i hate st. louis...i really do. <_<

650 including utilities. completely furnished and a 42" tv included with the place. 3 other roommates as well. place was redone maybe 5 or so years ago, so the stuff is still pretty new.
