I love how they talk about the huge deficits hes going to rack up over the coming years and then they say that the deficit will come right down to 530bil without explaining how... I really wish they would at least mention in how much the national debt will be in 2013 or even just right now. If people knew how much that was, I think they would be less willing to go along with his plan.

And as for the construction workers guy, Im working for a heavy highway construction co. right now in Chicago and that just really makes me want to cunt punt that sob for saying that.

Good for them. Finally glad to see the states standing up for themselves instead of going along with what the Federal government thinks is best. If a state wants to propose universal health care for their citizens thats fine, they can. The whole gay marriage issue is a perfect example of letting the states decide for themselves. But as for Obama, anyone watch his speech tonight? Basically what I got out of it was... We need to be responsible in our spending...We need to get lending and spending going again! The government needs more resources(aka money) for programs x,y, and z! We would like to cut the deficit in half and think about the future we are leaving our children...We need give money...uh I mean resources to programs a,b, and c! <_<

So my mom asked me to take a look at her 01 Camry because apparently the engine was sounding much louder than usual. So i get out there fire it up and immediately notice what she must of, I also start to smell something like gasoline. I see a whiff of smoke coming from under the car and immediately think, oh shes got a little hole or something in the exhaust piping....Nope! It seems that around/after the cat converter the pipe must of snapped or pretty much come undone because the entire area underneath the engine was filled with smoke that was billowing out of the pipe. I kinda wish all car problems were as simple as that to diagnose.

He should have thought about that before he put together this retarded stimulus package.

Im not really surprised by anything that has happened so far with Obama, I mean hes pro-government so it all makes sense really. I think the one thing that has surprised me is peoples complacency with the government spending the amount of money that they are and the fact that they dont even have the money to begin with. I mean besides the tidbit about wanting to slash the deficit - not eliminate or create a surplus - no one has mentioned the national debt.

And the Constitution, whats that? I remember something about that from a School House of Rock episode or whatever. But it is rather sad that no one has mentioned it, when it was spoken so much during campaign times. If people actually took a look in there, they might wonder how the Federal government has as much power as it does.
