  1. Thought you'd like some good ole fashioned MWC ribbing brah...

Comon Craig, there werent enough f bombs in that to be a good ole fashioned MWC ribbing.

Is there a reasoning behind your 4X4 status ? that car would look Hot lowered. Coil over's or even just spring's. . . . . . .& DEF get the tint done.

Stock suspension? Trying to get at least 5 years if not 10 out of the car, so no coilovers or over the top mods. It'll get lowering springs eventually, probably do a standard 35% tint as well. Just need to find the time. :)

Give Tom a break. He just finished school, just started his first job 6 months ago and is barely settling in after purchasing the car. He's doing the smart thing I would imagine which means staying out of debt.

Money isnt the problem at the moment, I just need to figure out how to stop working the long hours I am right now. Not enough time to do what I want to the car. :(

  2. When did you snag an XC70? I thought you bought a T5M before you left for out west....lol. Dude...the 4x4 trucks up here in Northern MI don't have that much fender gap.

Damn you Craig. Besides having a stock suspension, I think my parking brake jacks the back up a little for some reason when its pulled.

Damn nice pics man! Nice to see some people in my neck of the woods. That church is just unreal, sick in pictures but they don't do justice when you're standing at the doors.

First time being out in N. Arizona and wouldn't hesitate to go back! Really liked Sedona, wouldnt mind retiring there some day. Nice little microbrewery up in the Village of Oak Creek.

    awesome!

what is the sticker or insignia above "volvo" on the tailgate of the t5m?

Its the name of the dealer from where it was originally bought out in MD.

  3. Took the wagon on its first real trip since moving out west. Visited some friends of the family out in Sedona, AZ. Had some fun and gave me some good photo opportunities.

    Looking at Indio, CA

  4. Welp, I think my father and I have taught my brother well. He now has been talking about and looking for either a Volvo 740, or an 850/S70. He said if he goes with an 850/x70, it HAS to be manual.

I think it would be nice if he got an 850/x70... then I can give him my Kilen lowering springs and assortment of other parts. :)

Sell him your wagon, so you can finally get another 601 Red...

  6. CrI1X.jpg

    I feel better now.

The couple that live in the back part of the duplex im in, the husband works EMT, volunteers, and goes to class most of the week/weekend. He happened to move into the area just before the big San Diego fire back in 07. Talking with him about the hours, the constant training and classes he needs to take makes me think my 70 hours a week isnt that bad...especially when he went through how much hes paid when he working an EMT shift or at a local firehouse.

  7. Woot.

Anyone else see the connection between the old rise of the apes movies, and the newest one :)

the one from 2004 just made no sense when you try to link it between the old ones.

This one at least shows how the human race killed itself out and gave the apes their increase in knowledge.

    Just watched it. :)

All I could think as the chimps were going through San Fran was...if that had happened in someplace like Texas where everyone has guns, all those chimps would be dead.

  8. The bipartisan debt panel to nowhere is exactly where K Street lobbyists want it to be: hopelessly deadlocked.

A Nov. 23 deadline for agreement on $1.2 trillion in budget savings is looming, but no real reductions in the size, scope or spending of government are on the table. Instead, we are witnessing another obscene special-interest splurge to preserve the status quo.

Well I guess you were right, nothing at all happened.

I wonder if this failure will spark people to actually look outside the two major parties or at least change up dramatically whose in Congress...but probably not.

  9. And the Chargers blow.

WTF are you doing in Cali? Wisconsin throw you out?

The Chargers do blow and I had fun seeing them get beat by the Packers this past Sunday at Qualcomm. :)

Surprisingly I got a job out here.

Welcome back to the political forum, whats your blood pressure at? :P

Ron Paul is a smart guy, but his ideas are too radical even for the Tea Party, and most Republicans know he would never win.

RP strikes me as the only candidate up there who actually believes in what he says and will stick by it even if it means losing votes. That and he would actually do something about the power lobbying groups have in the government, which is something every American decries but everything goes on as usual.
